Chapter Twenty-Eight
Harry’s POV
I unlocked Louis’ door since I had his key.
“There he is!” They all jumped on me.
“What are you guys doing” I laughed.They all stared at me as if I had just won a medal.
“Let’s celebrate!” Louis shouted.
“I still don’t get it” I said looking at them.
“Harry is in love” Louis put his arm around my neck.
“Louis it’s too-“
“Let’s celebrate! He accepted!” Louis ran to the kitchen followed by the rest of us.
Mia’s POV
“Dad! Mom!” I shouted as I entered my parents’ house. I still had the key.
“In here” I heard my father’s voice coming from the kitchen. I squealed inexcitementand ran
to the kitchen.
“Oh my god, there’s my girl” My dad walked over to me and gave me a big hug. I hugged him tight. It’s been a while since I saw him.
“You’ve grown so much!” He told me.
“I’m so happy you’re back in London” I got a bit teary.
“I’m back and I’m not going anywhere.” He smiled. He hadn’t changed one bit.
“Come on I’m cooking dinner” He said.
“So tell me… any new boys?” He wiggled his eyebrows. He knew about my break-up with
Nathan. I didn’t even mind him joking about boys.
“She does! There’s this boy that picked her up for ‘homework’ the other day” My mum said nudging my shoulder.
“Really? I want to meet him” My dad said laughing.
I rolled my eyes.
“I can assure you, he’s a gentleman” My mum told him. I giggled a little. Harry was a gentle man.
We talked and laughed about things. I was so happy to have both my parents in London. I felt my phone vibrate I my pocket indicating I had a message.
Harry: Hey sexy ;)
Harry’s POV
“Text her” Louis said giving me my phone.
“Yeah text her! Give it some spice like, Hey sexy or hey baby” Niall told me. We all laughed at his comment but he looked dead serious.
“Why not”I shrugged and texted her.
Harry: Hey sexy ;) x
Mia: Hey baby ;)
Niall was right.
“You’re right” I told him.
“Really let me see!”
“No way” I smirked and he groaned.
Harry: How’s your dad? Glad he’s back?
Mia: Absolutely! Everything is great!
Harry: Did you talk about me? I smirked while typing it.
Mia: My mom did when he asked. She called you a gentleman ;)
I smiled at that text. It was nice knowing her mum liked me.
“Can you at least tell us what you guys are saying” Louis shouted.
I just stuck my tongue out and continued texting.
Harry: I am aren’t I. I’m a gentleman. x
Mia: Don’t flatter yourself Styles :*
Harry: I have to go, the lads say Hi. xx
Mia: Ok, tell them I said Hi too. Byee x
“Ok I’m done, she says hi” I said.
“And…” Niall said expecting me to continue.
“Oh and her mum thinks I’m a gentleman.”
“SCORE!” Louis shouted.
“Ok now we have to plan about the date” Louis added.
“Which date?”
“The date you are taking her on” Zayn said.
“You’re all like my mum, You plan every single detail” I laughed.
“We want you to feel good about this” Liam said.
“I do feel good about this” I smiled.
“Awwwww…” They all said patting my back. It felt good that my best friends had my back.
“Ok I’m going to call Emily, so that she can talk to Mia” Niall said.
“Wait what?” My eyes widened.
“Relax, Nialler here got your back” He said and walked out of the room.
Mia’s POV
“I’ll call you tomorrow” I told my dad.
“Alright love, bye” He said. Emily called because she wanted to meet me at my house.
Something important she said.
I wonder what it could be.
I finally arrived at my apartment and saw Emily standing outside.
“There you are!” She waved.
“Is it that important?” I asked
“Nah not really can’t I just talk to my best friend” he dragged me inside after I unlocked the door. I laughed.
“So how was seeing you’re dad again feel like” She asked bringing out some alcohol from her bag. And another. And another. My eyes widened as she brought out 4 bottles of I don’t even know what.
“It felt great but Em, what’s all this for?” I stared at them.
“It’s Friday! Let’s have some fun!” /she cheered and brought out some red plastic cups.
“Here you go” She handed me one

“Haha… But I totally ignored the guy!” Emily laughed as she told me about the time when a guy was talking to her while she ignored him.
“So what’s going on between you and Harry” She asked taking a sip of her drink.
“I honestly don’t know” I laughed even though it wasn’t funny.
“Gurl! I thought you knew already” She said.
“What do you mean?” I asked her and put my drink down.
“Look at this picture” She showed me a picture of me and Harry. The day after Harry introduced his friends.
“El sent me that. You can obviously see by the way you looked at him while he was speaking that there is something.” She told me.
I looked at her speechless and turned to look at the picture. Again that feeling in my stomach as looked at the way his eyes showed excitement in the picture. The way his messy curls looked so handsome. The way his dimple was barely showing. The way his eyes looked so green.
“Exactly” Emily said as if she could read my thoughts.
