It was now the end of the second week of December. Harry and I have been together nearly 3 months already, December 28th will mark our 3 month anniversary. Time really flies on tour. We were in Italy. They boys had 2 shows here then 1 in Germany before taking a break for Christmas. It would start back in mid-January.
It was a crisp cold morning in Venice. I was snuggled under my blanket in my small tour bus bed when I felt someone shaking me and slapping me.
“Jessica! Jessica, wake up” Kendall whispered, trying not to wake up the other girls.
“What? Why?” I asked, rubbing my eyes open.
“We've got to go back to L.A.” she said, pulling the blanket off me.
“Why? Did something happen with you and Niall? Honestly Kendall, you don't need to go home becau-” I was saying when she cut me off.
“No. Jessica, listen to me. We need to go now. Something happened at home. I've already called a private plane to pick us up from the airport. Get dressed. Grab anything you need. We've got to leave as soon as possible” Kendall frantically said.
A wave of anxiety flooded through my body.
“Kendall, calm down. What happened at home?” I asked as I pulled on a pair of sweatpants.
“I'm guessing you haven't checked your phone, have you?” she asked with a shaky voice.
“No, why?” I asked, looking on the floor for my phone. Kendall sighed.
“It's Gigi..” she began.
I zoned out what she was saying when I saw all the messages and missed calls on my phone. I opened the least recent one which was from Nina.
From Nina: Jessica, you need to come home. I don't know what to do right now. Gigi told me she had a bad headache and I told her to stop being a pussy and to take some aspirin. A little while later, I heard a bang from upstairs. I went up to check on her and found her in the hallway collapsed. I was home alone and couldn't help her by myself so I called an ambulance. I'm here in the hospital with her and Kylie now. They said she has a brain hemorrhage and she's in a coma now. I'm the worlds shitest sister. Brandi and Serena are on their way here now. Please come home. I need you. Please.
My heart stopped beating as I read her text. My little sister Gigi is 10,000 miles away in a coma in a hospital with a bleeding brain and I'm not there to help her. I felt my eyes begin to water. I looked up at Kendall who was standing there, staring at me.
“We've gotta go. Now” I said sternly.
I grabbed my Louis Vuitton handbag which had my purse, iPod, sunglasses and phone charger in it. I grabbed my passport from my suitcase under my bed and threw it in my bag too. I slipped a Wildfox sweater over my head, threw on a pair of Uggs and walked off the bus with Kendall. There was a car beside the bus waiting to bring us to the airport.

It was only 8:30am so everyone was still asleep. I didn't have time to tell Harry that I was leaving. As we drove to the airport, I took out my phone and began to text him.
To Harry: Hi. I'm sorry I have to do this over text message, but I'm on my way to the airport with Kendall right now. We need to go back to Los Angeles. Gigi is in hospital. Nina said she collapsed and the doctors say she has a brain hemorrhage and she's in a coma. I hope you understand why I didn't say goodbye before leaving. I don't know how long I'll be gone. I just need to be with my little sister right now. I'll call you when I land. X
When we arrived at the airport, the car brought us straight to the runway. We simply flashed our passports to some security guards and we were instantly sitting on the plane, ready to take off.

Harry's P.O.V.
I forced myself out of bed as I heard the sound of my alarm going off. I clicked the screen of my phone to stop the alarm and saw I had a new message from Jessica. I smiled to myself, expecting a cute "good morning" message, like the ones she occasionally sends me. I couldn't have been more wrong.
After reading her text, I got a bad pain in my chest, as if my heart had just broken. She's gone? She left, just like that? I clenched my jaw and swallowed in attempt to stop the tears that were now forming. I typed my reply.
To Jessica: Hey baby, don't worry. Go be there for your sister. I hope you're okay. I'll pray Gigi gets better soon. Stay safe. Miss you already. All my love, H .x
I got out of bed and took a shower. The whole shower all I could think about was how broken Jessica must feel knowing her baby sister is so far away and in hospital. I couldn't be mad at her for leaving really. I know I'd leave tour if any of my family were ill in hospital, so I completely understand. I just wish I wasn't in the middle of a tour so that I could go with her and hug her and tell her everything will be alright. The main thought running through my head was the one big question that no one knew the answer to; how long is it going to be before I get to see Jessica again?

I hope this was unexpected! I've read quite a lot of fanfic stories myself and they all have the same kind of dramatic events in the plot. I want my story to be completely different; something you've never read before.
