I swung the front door open to see Kendall's face smiling cheekily back at me.
“Hey there” she said, stepping inside and giving me a hug.
In Beverly Hills, it is essential to greet someone by kissing both of their cheeks like they do in France, so we did that. Kendall came up to my room and helped me pick an outfit. I decided on plain black leggings, a loose grey tank top, and a deep green cardigan with black felt detail. I threw on my favourite pair of black Louboutin booties and decided to use my black and grey Louis Vuitton handbag. I got my black Chanel purse, checked to make sure I had enough money in it, and threw it in my handbag. I threw a few essential makeup items in my bag like powder, foundation, lipstick, mascara. I looked at the clock in my room and saw we still had a little time before we had to go to the restaurant.
“Take a picture of me, I wanna put it on instagram” Kendall said, handing me her iPhone.
I opened the camera app and took 3 or 4 pictures so she had a choice of which one to post.
“Here, do the same for me” I said, handing her my phone and her own.
She did the same for me, took 3 or 4 pictures and handed my phone back.
“Wait, lemme check if Brandi is in her room and she can take one of us both” I said, leaving my bedroom and walking into my eldest sister's room across the hall from my room.
Brandi came in wearing her pyjamas and took a picture of Kendall and I on both of our phones before going back to her room again.
Kendall and I walked to my car outside while we both edited our pictures and put them on instagram. When we walked outside, we hopped in my Land Rover and started driving to the restaurant.
We went to Villa Blanca in West Hollywood. When we arrived outside, I handed my car keys to the valet guy and we walked into the restaurant. We instantly saw Nina and the One Direction guys. Nina's friend Rachel and a girl that I've never seen before were at the table too. I later found out that she was Louis' girlfriend, Eleanor.
“Kendall!” Nina screamed as she stood us and gave Kendall a hug.
“Nina I haven't seen you in so long” Kendall exclaimed, breaking their hug.
The table was pretty big since there was 10 of us. There were two seats at the end of the table across from each other for Kendall and I. One of was beside Harry and the other was beside Niall. Kendall gave me a sly wink before sitting next to Niall. I had told her about Harry this morning so she was obviously trying to be a match maker by letting me sit beside him.
I sat down beside Harry and put my handbag on the floor under the table. I brushed my curled hair behind my shoulder. I felt Harry lean in closer to me.
“You look gorgeous” he said quietly into my ear.
His soft voice sent shivers down my spine. I leaned towards him and whispered back.
“You too” I smiled.
He smiled back, revealing his gorgeous dimples. I looked over at Kendall who was in deep conversation with Niall.
“So what did you do today?” I asked Harry, starting a conversation.

After we had all eaten, I was too full to finish my meal so I asked the waitress to put it in a take away box for me and she did. Everyone was ordering dessert but I knew if I ate any more I'd be sick all night. Yes, it has happened many time before.
“Are you getting dessert?” Harry asked me.
Harry and I talked to each other the whole evening. I felt bad for not socializing with everyone else, but how could I when I was sitting at the end of the table.
“No I'm stuffed, are you?” I replied.
“Defintiely not. I'm struggling to hold my food down as it is” Harry joked, making me laugh.
“Do you know what I really want to do right now?” he asked, turning his whole body towards me.
“Tell me” I replied, mimicing him by turning my body to face him.
“Take a nice walk on the beach” he said.
“Well let's go then” I suggested.
“Really? You'd come with me?” he asked, a little surprised.
“Of course! I'm not gonna let you go by yourself. Unless you want to be alone..” I trailed off but was interupted by Harry.
“No no I want you to come with me” he said excited.
“Come on then. Everyone else is getting dessert, they won't miss us” I replied.
Harry pulled his chair out and began putting on his jacket. I bent down to grab my bag. My cardigan was at the back of my chair but when I reached my hand back to get it, it was gone. I turned around to see Harry standing up holding my cardigan open to help me put it on. I smiled, stood up, and he helped me slip it on. I thanked him before pulling my purse out of my handbag.
“Jess and I are gonna go for a walk but here's enough money for both of our meals” Harry said, leaving two 50 dollar bills in the middle of the table.
“Harry no, let me pay for myself” I insisted, opening my purse and pulling out another 50.
He turned to me and placed a hand lightly on my hip.
“It's fine, I want to pay for you” he said, giving me a smile.
“We're all going back to our house later so come home after your walk. We're gonna watch a movie so we'll wait for you both to start it” Nina explained, “Bye”.
Everyone said bye and we bid them farewell before grabbing my doggy bag of leftover and leaving the restaurant.
“Since you know this town better than I do, lead us to the nearest beach” Harry said, putting his arm out for me to lead the way.
“The nearest beach is Santa Monica. It's like a thirty minute drive straight down this road” I explained.
I handed the valet guy the ticket and he brought my car to us. It was pretty much a straight road from the restaurant to the beach. It was 7.30pm by the time we reached the beach, so it was still quite warm out and the sun hadn't set just yet. We started walking along the boardwalk rather than in the sand.
“So, tell me everything there is to know about you” Harry said, smiling widely at me, revealing his dimples. Those dimples could make a girl do anything!
“Why? What do you want to know about me” I asked, laughing.
“Tell me absolutely everything about you and I'll do the same after. And because I want to get to know you, your life seems interesting” he said.
“Okay.. Well, my full name is Jessica Veronica Campbell. I turned 17 last month on September 28th. I have 3 older sisters; Brandi, Serena and Nina, and 1 younger sister, Gigi. I'm from Ireland. I moved to LA about 4 years ago. I used to go to Sierra Caynon Private High School, but now I'm homeschooled. I'm in 11th grade. I don't want to go to college. Apart from modeling, I love dancing and running. I have a white chihuahua puppy named Charles and a chocolate chihuahua puppy named George. My favourite colour is red. My best friend is Kendall Jenner. I'm 5'6''. My favourite food is cheeseburger and curly fries. My favourite drink is sprite. Your turn” I finished.
Harry stared at me and smiled the entire time that I was talking.
“My full name is Harold Edward Styles. I'm 19. My birthday is February 1st. I have one sister, her name is Gemma. My mum and dad are divorced. I have a cat called Dusty. I'm from Holmes Chapel in Cheshire in England, it's kind of near Manchester if you know where that is. I used to work in a backery. I love running, golf, tennis and badminton. I'm not gonna tell you about the band cause I'm sure you know how we're famous and all that..” he trailed off.
I nodded, letting him know that I knew how One Direction were on X Factor and how they started.
“Umm, I recently bought a flat here in LA. I'm 5'10''. If I wasn't in the band, I wanted to be a physiotherapist or a lawyer. My favourite colours are orange and blue. You know who my best friends are. My favourite drink is apple juice. My favourite song at the moment is Lego House by Ed Sheeran” Harry continued and finished.
“I love Ed Sheeran, I went to his concert a few months ago and it was definitely top 5 best nights of my life” I expressed.
“He's incredible! He's one of my good freinds actually” Harry replied.
“Really? I'm so jealous. So tell me more about your family” I encouraged.
“It should be my turn to ask you now but I'll let you away with it this time” he said, making me laugh, “Well, my mum's name is Anne. My dad's name is Des. They divorced when I was about 7. My mum remarried a man called Robin a few months ago. I was surprisingly happy for her. I'm quite the mummy's boy. I miss my mum a lot when I'm travelling or on tour or simply spending time here. I make sure to call her every day though, so I know she's alright and so she knows I am too. I'm really close with her. I tell her pretty much everything, like if I'm having a problem with the lads or girl problems or anything. Then there's my dad. I get my love of cars from him. I actaully bought him a Porshe for his birthday a few months back. I don't speak to him as much as I do with my mum, but she lets my dad know how I'm getting on. I call him usually once or twice a week. I'm quite close with my sister, Gemma. She's 22. She's unbelievably clever. She recently finished college. She's always there for me when I need help with something that my mum didn't know how to help me, like with certain situations. I don't really know how to explain. My family mean everything to me. I always say I would never date a girl that my family didn't like or if she didn't like them. They know what's best for me and at the end of the day, everything I do is for them” Harry explained.
“Wow. That was pretty nice to hear, that you have so many great things to say about your family and how you express how much they mean to you. Most guys don't do that cause they wanna seem 'cool' or something” I said.
“You'll soon learn that I'm not like most guys” he smiled, looking me straight in the eyes, “now you tell me about your family”.
“Hmm, like I said, I have 4 sisters. Brandi is the eldest. She's 23. Out of all of my sisters, she's the one that I go to when I need help with friends or school or boys just becuase she's had the most experience so she gives better advice. She was the one who suggested my sisters and I all move here because she was here for vacation a few years ago and was offered a job in Hollister and it has been her life dream to work there so she just couldn't turn it down. So we all moved to support her. After Brandi is Serena. She's 21. She isn't in school or college, neither is Brandi. I never really see her much. She's always either being a slob at home or being a slob in her boyfriend's house. Then there's Nina, who I guess you're friends with. She's 18. I'm definitely closest to Nina because there's just a ten month age difference between us so we just have this bond. Last is Gigi. A lot of people think her name is short for something, but it's not.. She's 16. She's so annoying simply because she's always taking my clothes and makeup and my other stuff without telling me and it makes me mad, but since she's the youngest I'm always extra nice to her even when I want to strangle her. She suffers the most from being away from our parents. She has days where she thinks she can't cope in LA any longer and she just wants to go back to Ireland. I can see why it's hard for her because she was only about 12 when we moved here. I try to always be there for her but sometimes it's not enough. My mom still lives in Ireland and my dad lives in Orlando, Florida. I call them both everyday. I'm pretty close with both of them, but more my mom than my dad. They both plan on moving to LA when they retire so that they can be closer to us. Like you, my family mean the world to me. We all love each other so much because of things we have to go through together, like being away from our parents from a young age. My sister's are like my best friends. Again like you, if they didn't like a guy, I wouldn't go near him. Their opinions mean a lot to me” I finshed with a smile.
“That was beautiful. There's nothing I love more than people expressing their love of their family” Harry chimmed.
“Now, back to you, tell me all about Holmes Chapel..” I said.
