Fame

It was early and cold on this beautiful crisp London morning in mid-November. We've been in London for exactly a week now. The boys had performed in the O2 for 4 nights; 2 nights on stage, 2 nights rest, and back on stage for another 2 nights. All of the equipment had been packed up in the trucks and were ready to head off to the next city.

“Where do we go now?” Eleanor asked, just as our girls bus started moving.
She and I were sitting on the couch, her arm hanging over my shoulder, almost as if we were boyfriend and girlfriend cuddling. Not in a lesbian way, in a 'we are best friends and are comfortable around each other' way.
“Manchester” Kendall replied, not looking up from her phone.
I didn't want any of the girls to know, but I was kind of dreading going to Manchester. I know Harry's family live near there, and I presumed they would be attending at least one of the two shows that the boys were playing there. And if not, I know Harry is going to want to go and visit them since we'll be so close to them. A part of me was just scared to meet them. What if they hate me?
I decided to leave my stressing until the time came. I loosened myself from Eleanor's embrace and stood up to fetch my phone from my bed before returning to my original spot on the sofa.

About an hour into our 4 hour bus journey, my phone vibrated in my hand and I noticed it was a text from Niall. He's becoming like a brother to me this past week.
From Niall: You know that thing you told me might happen when we go to Manchester? Well, it's not your lucky day mate x
Niall was the only person I had told about my worries of meeting Harry's family. He was kind of going through the same thing with Kendall. They were both terrified to meet one another's parents. Harry's met all of my sisters but he's never mentioned meeting my parents.
I looked back at my phone and began typing.
To Niall: If they're going to one of the shows, I'm making you stand with me until the second you go on stage and the second you come off x
Just as I locked my phone, it vibrated again.
From Niall: They're not just going to one show babe! And of course, I'll introduce you, his mum is hot x
That made me laugh. Just as I began typing, I received another text.
From Niall: And btw, Harry wants to keep it a secret from you that they're going to be there, so I didn't tell you a thing ;) x
I quickly typed my response.
To Niall: Your secret is safe with me x
I love Niall. He and I have some sort of special sibling-like bond. He's always looking out for me. I guess it's cause we're both from Ireland, although I live in LA and have an American accent. But still, I grew up in Ireland and left when I was like 13 so I'm still and Irish girl on the inside.. deep down.

The girls were blasting music in the bus and basically having a party, but it soon came to an end when we reached Manchester. It was around 3pm by the time we arrived, and the guys had a concert that night. I didn't even have a chance to see Harry before they were whisked off to sound check.
Danielle suggested us gals go get some lunch before we get back to the venue for the concert. I was in my pajamas, so I threw on a pair on light denim jeans, a loose white dressy tank top, and a black kimono with lace detail on the shoulders. I quickly applied my makeup. I've gotten a lot faster at doing it lately. Since we would be going straight from lunch back to the venue and wouldn't be on the bus until that night, I grabbed my black Hermés birkin and threw in my white Chanel wallet, makeup bag and phone. I had had a shower earlier while on the road so I gave my hair a quick straighten so that it was wavy but not frizzy and curly. I sprayed myself with Miss Dior perfume and a bit of deodorant before throwing them both in my bag. I slipped on a pair of black suede Louboutin 6inch boots and walked down the steps off the bus to the fresh air, with the other following behind me.
