Chapter 18
Jessica's P.O.V.
It took about 15 minutes to get from the airport to the house we have rented in Hawaii. When we got to the villa, everyone's jaws dropped. It had 7 bedrooms, the three biggest bedrooms were upstairs. There was a backyard with a pool and an ocean view. There were steps that lead down to a private beach just for us. There were several living rooms and a huge kitchen stocked up with food. We all dropped our bags in the hallway before wondering around, admiring the house.
“Since Jessica paid for this house, I think it's only fair that her and Harry get the master bedroom” Kendall suggested, and everyone nodded in agreement.
After everyone was settled in their rooms, we all went down to the kitchen. Since it was around 2.30pm, Liam and Danielle made lunch for everyone.
“This house is amazing Jessica!” Eleanor said.
“How much did it cost?” Niall asked.
“Let's just say, it didn't break the bank” I smiled.
I never find money an issue, but I definitely do not like showing off how much money I have, hence why I didn't tell Niall how much it cost. However, Kendall had a different plan in mind.
“It cost 40 thousand dollars for the week” Kendall smirked at me.
Why would she ever announce that to everyone??
“WHAT??” Niall, Eleanor, Perrie and Louis all shouted in unison.
“You spent 40 grand on this house for the week?” Zayn asked me, kind of shocked.
I looked away, pretending not to hear his question.
“It's not like she can't afford it! Her house in Los Angeles cost 25 million dollars” Kendall announced.
“WHAT????” Everyone except Kendall and I screamed.
“Shit Jess, I didn't know you were proper minted” Perrie laughed.
“Kendall..” I scowled, giving her a dirty look.
What the fuck is her problem? Why is she telling them all this personal information about my life? It doesn't concern them and it's none of their business. Now they'll all think I'm just a snobby rich kid who gets whatever I want.
Just as Danielle and Liam said that the food they were preparing was ready, I excused myself from the table and went up to mine and Harry's room. I couldn't believe Kendall, I was so angry with her. I was sitting on the bed, texting Nina, letting out my frustration. I heard the faint sound of flip flops coming up the stairs that leads to our room. The sound gradually got louder and I looked up to see Eleanor walk into the room.
“Jess.. Are you alright?” she asked hesitantly.
“Yeah I'm fine, why?” I managed to smile back.
She walked over to me and sat on the bed facing me.
“No you're not. Is it because of what Kendall said?” she asked.
I nodded in response.
“Why did that upset you?” she asked, taking my hand.
“Because she knows I hate people who show off how much money they have and she knows I like to keep my financial information to myself. I don't like people knowing how much money I have cause they treat me differently. They think I'm some spoiled rich kid and I hate it. That's why I'm so annoyed. She knows that things like that piss me off and then she goes and announces it in front of everyone” I explained.
“I'll admit, I did find it a bit rude how she told everyone how much you spent on this house for the week, especially when you pretty much told Niall that you didn't want anyone to know how much it cost. And why she told everyone how much your house is worth was rude too, and irrelevant. Like, how is that anyone else's business but your families? But I promise you Jess, we're not gonna treat you any differently. Everyone knows the guys have made millions of dollars in their career, and as for Kendall, no offence to her she's lovely and everything, but she only has millions of dollars because her sister made a sex tape and became famous” Eleanor said, making me laugh at the last part, “So don't be upset about what she said. None of us think differently of you. We all still think you're the down to earth, hilariously funny Jessica that we love and have become such good friends with”.
“Thanks Eleanor. You're a really good friend” I said, leaning over and giving her a hug.
“Anytime babe! Now, are you hungry?” she asked.
“Not really” I replied.
“Good, cause Danielle and Liam aren't very good cooks” Eleanor giggled, making me burst out laughing.
When we managed to calm our laughter, the two of us stood up from the bed.
“I have an idea!” Eleanor said excitedly.
“What?” I questioned.
“Let's go swimminggggg” she said, jumping up and down, making my laughter return.
“Okay, help me pick a bikini” I said, walking over to my case and unzipping it.
“Definitely this one!” Eleanor said, picking up an animal print bikini from Victoria's Secret.

Eleanor grabbed my hand before walking through the house to the pool.
Harry's P.O.V.
We had just finished eating the food that Liam and Danielle had made for us. I went upstairs to find Jessica. I knew something was wrong when she excused herself from the table, but Eleanor insisted that she went to see if Jessica was okay, even though I wanted to be the one to cheer her up.
When I walked into our room, Jessica wasn't there. I heard laughter coming from outside, so I walked out to the balcony to see Eleanor and Jessica in the pool. I went downstairs and was walking through the kitchen when Louis approached me.
“Do you know where El and Jess are?” he asked.
“Outside” I replied, pointing towards the pool.
Louis followed me outside just in time to see Eleanor run and jump into the pool, splashing Jessica in the face. Louis and I laughed as we walked over to the pool. Jessica waved at me before climbing out and walking towards me. As she walked, I couldn't help but stare at her body. Her bikini was a perfect fit for her tiny ribs and slightly curvy hips.
“Shit, your girlfriend has a really fit body” Louis said.
“I know” I replied, before walking the few steps between Jessica and I.
I grabbed her tightly by the waist and picked her up. She giggled and wrapped her long, skinny legs around me.
“Are you alright babe” I asked, as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
“Mhmm” she nodded, before placing her lips on mine.
I gradually walked over to the edge of the pool.
“Good!” I shouted, before throwing Jessica from my arms and into the pool.
Louis and Eleanor burst out laughing. I pulled my shirt over my head, kicked off my shoes, threw off my slacks and jumped into the pool in my boxers.
“Louis, help me out?” Eleanor asked, lifting her arms up so Louis could pull her out.
As he took her hands, she jerked her arms back, dragging Louis full-clothed into the pool, making Jessica and I hysterically laugh. I was glad to see Jessica laughing, especially since she was upset about 20 minutes ago. I swam over to her, pressed her against the wall of the pool, cupped her face and planted my lips on hers. I traced my tongue along her bottom lip before she parted them, allowing my tongue entrance. We stood there passionately kissing for a few minutes before I gently bit her bottom lip and pulled away.
“You're the most gorgeous girl in the world” I said, before softly kissing her again.
