It Takes Patience
Chapter 19: The Meeting
The door swung open and I pulled my hand out of Reagan’s pants while she tried to push me off of her. Levi just stood there stumbling over his word’s trying to apologize, failing miserably, and looking dumbfounded all at the same time.
“Shut the fuck up Levi! Just get in here and close the door!” I shouted feeling myself get angry. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before I looked over at Reagan. She was so cute when she was embarrassed, her cheeks were as red as an apple and she tried to hold her face in her hands. I got up off the bed after my dick went down and went to Levi’s side of the room.
“Levi, you can’t say anything about what you saw. She can’t get in trouble. She kind of works here and has a lot riding on her being here.” I said it to Levi so only he could hear. I didn't need her to know I was defending her. It was bad enough that I kept dreaming about her and can’t seem to keep my hands off her when she’s around now days.
“I won’t tell. I didn't tell about that nurse” Levi whispered back and I could feel my eyes pop before I turned quickly to see if Reagan had heard him. Thankfully she hadn't.
“Don’t mention that again either!” I whisper shouted at him and he raised his hands in defense. She didn’t need to know about flirty nurse. I had already told her that nothing happened and I intend to keep it that way.
“Harry it’s almost 5, you have a session with Dr. Baker today.” Reagan fidgeted with her bag while she spoke, clearly still embarrassed about being walked in on. I went to my side of the room, put on my shoes, then walked back over to the door to open it for Reagan. She nervously waved ‘bye’ to Levi and I gave him one last warning glance before leaving out the room.
When we got into the elevator she wouldn't even look at me. If she’s still embarrassed she needs to get over it.
“What’s wrong now?” I asked her aggravated that she wouldn’t make eye contact with me.
“That was so embarrassing Harry!” is she about to cry?
“You’re making a bigger deal about it than what it is. It’s not like you were naked or anything. And he’s not gonna tell. He never tells. You’re just frustrated because you haven’t come yet.”
“Harry shut up! And what do you mean he ‘never tells’ how many times has that happened to you?!” She shouted at me while whipping a tear out of the corner of her eye. Why is she crying?
“Why are you crying?” I dodged the question not wanting to give her an answer. It didn’t happen a lot, but it was still more times than I would like to share.
“I don’t know can we change the subject please?” We reached the first floor and as soon as the doors opened, Reagan darted out in front of me. I felt kind of bad. What did I do?
Harry was right. I was sexually frustrated and being walked in on didn’t help the matter. Not to mention the jealous pang I felt shoot through me when Harry said his roommate ‘never tells’. The walk to Dr. Baker’s office gave me enough time to compose myself before we got in. Harry was walking slowly behind me probably not wanting to deal with me in an emotional state. When we entered the office, Dr. B was in her usual spot and Harry’s mother was sitting on the couch. Harry and I both looked confused, but we took our normal seats and greeted his mom and Dr. Baker as we entered.
“Harry, Reagan how are you both today?” Dr. Baker said holding papers in her hand.
“Okay” I said glancing at Harry. Of course Harry is good. Nothing affects him until he has an episode coming on. He’s always so nonchalant about things.
“Today’s session is going to be a little bit different.” Dr. Baker continued.
“Reagan as you know, I had mentioned to you before giving you your assignment that Harry was one of the patients being considered for release...” Harry shot me a sideways glance and if I wasn’t mistaken it almost looked like he was hurt. He pursed his lips and furrowed his eyebrows as Dr. Baker went on.
“After you told me you wanted to shadow Harry...” (SHIT! I hadn’t told him that I wanted to shadow him. I said she chose him for me. Uggh I can feel myself blushing!) “I asked Dr. Leerman to talk to the board about a trial release for him. Harry due to your improvement in behavior and controlling your emotions, the board has agreed to a trial release for the duration of the summer.”
I couldn’t help but to smile as Harry’s mom began to cry tears of joy. She grabbed him in her arms and kissed his face over and over again. Harry was in shock, but still hugged his mom back then turned to finish listening to Dr. Baker speak.
“However, there are conditions. You must report here every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 5 o’clock to continue your sessions with me. Reagan will still shadow you on those days and any day she is able reporting to me if anything with you seems amiss...” She said turning to me. “And you will call in every night at 9 pm sharp and speak with Paul to report that you are alright. If any of these rules are broken the trial will be over and you won’t be considered again until next year. However if you follow every detail to the letter myself, Dr. Leerman, and the board will sign your official release papers.
I got up and congratulated Harry’s mother and then Harry. If he was going to be released whatever was wrong with him couldn't be that bad.
