i probably shouldn’t have told them that….. Peyten’s gonna kill me!! niall and harry stared at me with wide eyes, no one said anything for a long time. the only noise was from my cell phone when Peyten sent me another text : i got you and niall a gift! come over later, okay? “i didn’t know it was Courtney ..” niall drifted. how did he know Courtney? she was a terrible person, well at least then she was. “how do you know Courtney ” i asked niall. “last night when i went to Peyten’s, Courtney interrupted by showing up to stay for a ‘visit’ ” niall said looking at the phone. Courtney has the habit of just showing up unannounced, heck she showed up unwanted. “Peyten wants us to visit her flat later, she has a gift for us.” i informed niall as we paid before leaving.
* Peyten’s pov*
i purchased louis’s and niall’s gifts before texting Louis to come over later. i thought about how i would tell niall about my next lunch date with Logan and about logan asking me to be his date to the premiere. i couldnt wait to see niall again, but this time i wasnt sure if it would be a happy occasion. i walked into my flat hoping that it would be empty so i could just crash on the couch. but no courtney had to be there acting like a jerk. “well, well, well, if it isnt little miss cheater.” she said as i walked into the living room laying down my shopping bags. i ignored her as i walked into the kitchen excited to make some snacks for when louis and niall came over. i hummed to myself while i started to make some chocolate chip cookies. i carried the hot plate of them to the desk when courtney bumped into me causing me to drop them burning my wrists. “what the hell is your problem” i screamed. “your my problem” she sneered. “why am i your problem?” “because you think you can lead on two boys, when thats wrong.” with that she slapped me.
*nialls pov*
me and louis walked to Peyten’s flat. louis was about to open the door when we heard screaming. i could tell that courtney and Peyten were fighting. louis looked at me his eyes filled with worry, before opening the door. Peyten and courtney noticed us. before louis could stop her, peyten ran passed us and down the hall. with out thought i chased after her. i found her in the stairwell. i sat next to her on the steps, when she noticed me she wiped her eyes not looking at me. “come here.” i demanded softly pulling her into my chest.she cried for a few more minutes before i wiped her eyes. “what happened?” i asked her. “i came home with your guy’s gifts…. and courtney was being mean, so i ignored her….. then i made cookies for you two and when i went to put them on the desk she knocked into me making me drop them and burn my wrists. then we yelled at each other…. and she slapped me, then you showed up.” she quietly answered looking down at the ground. i wanted to confront courtney, but i wanted to comfort Peyten more. i held her for a while, then i got a text from Louis: where are you two?
i responded : wheres courtney?
louis: i’m with her and im taking her to harry’s flat. let him deal with her. ;)
me: good, i’ll take Peyten to my flat.
i drove Peyten to my flat, after finally convincing her, looking to enjoy a movie marathon with her. i unlocked the door and led her to the couch. i gave her one of my shirts to wear before i made us some popcorn. “what movie did you pick out?” i asked her handing the popcorn bowl to her. “major payne” she answered cuddling up to my side. i sighed as i wrapped an arm around her. this was the perfect moment. soon i noticed Peyten was fast asleep. she looked so peaceful, i loved knowing that she felt safe with me.
*dream state (Peyten’s pov)*
we all enjoyed a good time sitting around not doing much. then a storm started. it was loud and bright. we all tried to ignore it but then all the lights went out. i tried to find niall but failed.the only person i could find was a girl who didnt seem to happy. i tried again to find niall a second time only to find another boy who kissed me. i heard a angry voice then the boy was on the ground. i saw the girl again and before i could react she slapped me. she dragged me to the ground, i took hit after hit. before i blacked out….

“what the hell niall?!” i woke up with a start when i heard someone yell. when i looked at niall, he didnt seem fully aware of what was happening. i looked at the door to see it was Elizabeth who yelled at niall……
