35- This is War
Why was Demi Lavato here? Calm down Rai, maybe she’s here to apologize again! Maybe there is nothing to worry about. Stop basing everything off maybe Rai! I take a deep breath and slowly head towards the couch. Rose, Danielle, and Alyssa were sitting on the couch, each of them having a different look on their face. All of them had a hint of concern though. Demi smiled warmly at me and I gave her a sly smile in return. I placed my purse down next to the couch and sat down in the chair. Well, this was awkward.
“Hi Rai! I came to apologize for the way I acted on TV. I had no right to say that and I know I caused some drama, but I want us to be friends. Will you please forgive me?” She apologetically said.
I thought for a moment. Well, she had hurt my feelings, but I guess she really meant that she shouldn’t have said that. I always was a pretty big fan of her, and this is basically one of those once in a lifetime type things. I nodded and stood up. Demi opened her arms and we hugged. This is what new friends would do right? We all decided to go out for coffee and we headed out. On the way to the café, Demi was telling us how she was asked by Simon to tour with us to show the fans that nothing was going on. I was actually excited about that. We both did kind of blow our tops and upset our fans. This will tell everyone we are on a clean new page, right? We arrived at the café and got in line to order. Demi and I were having a little conversation of our own. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and I pulled it out. Blocked number, interesting.
I opened up the text and it was something that I didn’t know how to react to.
“Hello Rai. This is Simon, sorry the number is blocked, I am on my securities phone. I’m assuming you already know that Demi will be touring with you for the rest of the year. I thought this would make you extra excited about the next year. Rose and Danielle told me you were kind of in the dumps about not being with Niall, but I’m positive this will cheer you up. I called the manager of Maroon 5, and they also agreed to tour with you for the next year. Thank! –Simon”
I started jumping up and down, screaming my guts out. Everyone in the café was staring at me, most of the people thinking I was a weirdo. “What happened?” Demi asked. “MAROON FUCKING 5 IS GONNA TOUR WITH US!” I scream. Alyssa started screaming and jumping with me, I’m assuming she wasn’t notified about this either. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Rose and Danielle smirking. This was probably the best day of my life.
I couldn’t afford any more sugar in my body, so I didn’t get anything to drink. I was still trying to get over Maroon 5 actually touring with US for the next year! Alyssa got the fact in her head a lot quicker than I did, but this would take me a while. I was obsessed with Maroon 5, so obviously this would take me a while. This was definitely going to make me feel, well 100 times better.
Simon called a few minutes later, telling me to inform everyone that we would be meeting Maroon 5 tomorrow for lunch, then we would go to a studio nearby. I told him I would tell everyone and hung up. I informed them and Alyssa literally almost dropped her coffee on Rose. We all laughed and agreed it was probably time to go back to the hotel.
We reached the hotel and went to our room, Demi going to the extra room to unpack our things. I ran straight for my room to choose my makeup and clothes for tomorrow. I had to make a good impression in front of Adam Levine. He was one of my biggest idols. Besides One Direction. I choose the best outfit that was in my luggage, making my selection quite limited. Then I went through my makeup bag, selecting my hairstyle and makeup to match up with the outfit. I smiled, satisfied with the results of how it would look and put everything out so it was right there for tomorrow. I was quite tired from what you could call interesting day, so I laid down on my bed and fell asleep right away. Tomorrow was going to be magical.
