26- The Sneaky One
We walk into the room Niall was in and he gives me a quick smirk. I smile at him and hold his hand securely in mine. Everyone gathers around the bed and starts talking to Niall. "What happened anyways? I saw Rai leave with her purse and wallet?" Louis says. I hurry my hands in my face, mad at Louis. "Such an idiot you are mate." I say. He grins at me and I say "Me and Niall were running around like lunatics in the middle of the road and a truck hit Niall.." Everyone nods and sits down on the couch under the window. I leave the room and walk to the cafeteria. Rose and Danielle come along and Emily and Alyssa trail way behind. We go to the counter and order our food. Once it is prepared, we pay and sit down and begin to eat. "Why we're you guys up that late anyways?" Danielle asks. I sigh and reply "Niall woke me up when I was asleep on the couch." I look down at my food and take a bite of my sandwich. "Why did he wake you up?" Alyssa asks. "He gave me a necklace in the hallway." I respond. I pull it out from under my shirt and open it up. They all gasp and smile. "How romantic!" Emily proclaims. I giggle and close it, hanging it from outside of my shirt. We all finish and stand up, ready to go back to the room. "Niall really loves you Rai, you know that." Danielle says. I nod and smile proud of the fact that he DID in fact love me.
THREE MONTHS LATER-
Well, it's been three months and Niall's leg is in a cast for six more months. I've been spending a lot less time with him then before because Me and the band are recording our first album! We've been in the studio nonstop and honestly, I'm exhausted. Right now, I'm writing in my journal, the one Niall read to find out about Harry when he used to like me. I finally found a good hiding spot so I can hide it. I put it away after finishing my entry and walk downstairs. Lately, I don't know how, me and Niall have been getting into a few fights. It's scaring me, like the dreams I was having are becoming real. "Rai, where the fuck is everyone?" Niall says. I sigh and look out the window scanning for them. I told everyone I would watch Niall while they went for coffee. "I see them pulling up." Niall grabs his crutches and walks up to me and kisses my cheek. I sigh and walk away and out the door. Everyone greets me and walks in with coffee for Niall. I sit on the stoop and close my eyes. The dreams flash through my mind and then a new one appears. "Band Singer Niall Horan has proposed to singer Demi Lavato! Congratulations!" The news reported says. I cry into the pillow I was holding and Lucy walks over and rubs my back. "Mommy, why hasn't daddy been here for us?" Lucy asks. I sigh and wipe my eyes. "I don't know, but I do know something, we don't belong here anymore. Let's go." I sob. I walk upstairs hand in hand with Lucy. We pack our bags and throw them in the car along with some food. We both climb in the car and I pull out of the driveway of Rose and Zayn's house. They got married and had a boy named Max. They gave us a room ever since Niall left me. Zayn was really mad and said he was never talking to Niall again. Who could blame him? We drive to the airport and I park the car in the parking lot. I grab the bags out of the trunk and walk in the main entrance. I buy us tickets to the US and put our bags on the velt. We go through security and sit down in our boarding area. I put my hands in my jacket and feel a box like object. I pull it out and open it, revealing the necklace he had given me. I shake my head and stand up, throwing it in the garbage can. "Demi, your an idiot to fall for him." I mutter.
I open my eyes and look down at my feet. Why did these dreams keep happening to me? I sigh and stand up walking back in the mansion. I walk straight to Niall and I' s room. I walk in and Niall is laying on the bed watching TV. I sit down in the chair in the corner and look out the window watching the cars pass by. "What's wrong babe?" Niall asks. I hurry my head in my hands and mumble "You don't love me anymore." I hear him shift uncomfortably and reply "Why would you think that?" I turn to look at him and say "We've been fighting and I still have those dreams. This one you married Demi and I left with Lucy and I found the necklace and I dumped it out and I-I- I" Niall stands up and crutches over to me. He holds my chin and says "I always love you. Just tell me if you ever feel like the fighting is breaking us apart. I don't want to lose you Rai. You know that and I will stop fighting because I love you, ok?" I nod and stand up giving him a huge hug bursting into tears. Niall rubs his hand through my hair and kisses the back of my neck. I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss his nose. He smiles and says "I love you." I smile and giggle a bit. "Love you too, boo."
We finally finished the album about a week after that and all of us were super excited. We all went to an album release party and there were a whole bunch of screaming fans outside. I smile holding Niall' s hand assisting him while also waving to the fans. We walk inside and there were probably already 200 people there. They were all seated in the big room with the stage in front. We walk on and wave to everyone. "Hello everyone! Welcome to the album release of Summer Love!" Rose screams. Everyone cheers and I start clapping. "We are super excited and hope you all buy the album!" Alyssa yells. "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our fans and this album wouldn't be possible without you!" Danielle shouts. I smile at the audience and make a funny face. "I want to kiss every single one of you but I don't know where your cheeks have been so sorry!" I snicker. Everyone laughs and I look at Niall as he laughs over all the others. I smile and we walk off stage.
I watch the screen as they play the album music while showing pictures and clips of us recording. Niall wraps his arm around me and kisses my forehead. I lay my head on his shoulder and Rose hands my Lucy. I hold her and kiss her forehead. I feel Niall smile and watch me. "You were mine for the summer but now it's almost over." I sing quietly to Lucy. I turn to Niall and he kisses my forehead. He leans down and kisses Lucy's forehead and I turn back to the screen. After the music played, the boys went on stage and sang their song "Summer Love." Niall was looking at me the whole time he sang. I smile and beat my eyes at him. He chuckles and sings his part pointing right at me. My life was almost perfect.
