Clementine had an interview at SyCo Records in an hour and it was all due to a serindipitous encounter with a certain green eyed chap called Harry.
She took a quick look in the mirror in the entryway of her flat to check her hair, makeup and smooth her dress. She grabbed her Jack Wills Penbury satchel, stuffed a resume inside and exited her flat.
Just as she locked her door, her iPhone began to ring. She answered it quickly seeing it was her mum.

"Hello Mummy!" she greeted.
"Hello darling! How are you?" her mum replied.
"I'm fantastic, thanks. I'm actually on my way out to an interview at SyCo Records, can I give you a ring later?"
"Of course! Let me know how it goes, alright?"
"Absolutely! Bye Mummy!" *click*

Clementine walked down to the carpark and got in her creme coloured Mini Cooper. She googled the address and copied and pasted it into her Maps app. She needed to be there in the next 45 minutes, so she would have to drive fast.

I can't believe I got an interview so quickly, even if it was due to Harry getting it for me. I really hope I get it. I would love to work in a business like that!

Clementine pulled into the carpark of SyCo Records 35 minutes later and rushed into the building. She hated to be late, especially for something so important.
The receptionist looked at her expectantly as she walked right up to the desk.

"Hello! I'm Clementine King and I'm here to see Georgiana Bates at 11 o'clock."
The girl replied,"Perfect! She's expecting you now." She printed off a lift pass to get up to the correct floor of the building and handed it to Clementine. "Take the lift to the 16th floor and her office will be to your left. Good luck!"
"Thank you so much!" Clementine replied as she ran off to the lift.
She slid the card in the slot and it took her directly to the 16th floor. She stepped out of the lift and walked straight to the only door on her left. She knocked politely and opened it when she heard a "Come in!" from inside.

Georgiana Bates was a small, slender woman in her late thirties. She was dressed professionally with a tailored, creme coloured skirt, navy blue shirt and black blazer. Her black suede heels were absolutely lovely.

"Hello Clementine! It's so nice to finally meet you!" Georgiana said as she walked up to shake her hand.
"Hello! It's very nice to meet you as well! Thanks so much for having me in today."
"Oh absolutely! Anything for a friend of Harry's." she winked as she replied.
They walked to Georgiana's desk and sat in chairs on opposite sides.
Clementine laughed. "Well, about that, I just want you to know that I am very serious about this opportunity. I know that Harry got me the interview, but I want you to hire me because of myself."
Georgiana nodded and said "Absolutely, Clementine. I wouldn't think anything else. I have a few questions for you and then I'll be letting you know of my decision in the next few days."
"That sounds wonderful. Go ahead."
"Well, the first one I have is: why did you decide to go to business school in America?"
Clementine laughed and replied "I usually get that question. I went to school there because America is one of the top countries in the world that specialize in business. You can walk down the street and see three small businesses and four large ones. The way they run their businesses often dictate how the rest of the world runs theirs. I just figured I would go right to the source."
"It definitely sounds like you know a lot about business, but why do you think you'd do well as an Assistant Music Producer?" Georgiana asked.
"I love all types of music, not just one genre. I know what's good and what's bad in each different style of music. I have always been interested in working in music and I think this job would perfectly combine my music interest with my business background."
Georgiana was very impressed. *knock knock* "Well, I think we can wrap this up. I'm assuming that's Harry at the door. It was great talking with you and I'll let you know in the next couple of days."
"Thank you so much for having me! I really appreciate it!"
Clementine got up from the chair and walked out the door of Georgiana's office.

Harry was leaning against the wall to her left and stood up straight when he saw her.
"Hey Clementine! Sorry I was a little early. The lads and I just finished. How was your interview?"
"It was great! Thanks for doing that by the way." she blushed.
He linked her arm in his and started walking towards the lift. He slid his lift pass in the slot and guided her inside.
He pushed the Ground Floor button as he said "Absolutely! I think you'll do great at it. I know Georgiana loved you."
Clementine laughed "She seemed to. She said she'll be getting back to me in the next couple of days."
They reached the ground floor and Harry guided her out the back and into the employee carpark.
"Ummm..where are we going, Harry?" she was a little skeptical to be going out with this chap she just met.
"I'm taking you to a very special place for lunch. You're going to adore it."
