Warned

"AHHHH!" I suddenly jolt out of my sleeping state as a rat scampers across my foot. As I look around, I try and remember how the hell I got in an alley way.. Wasn't I just at Liam's? Wait.. no.

That was all a dream.

I distinctly remember walking into that room hiding from Harry, seeing Liam, and bolting out that goddamn door. God I don't even know what time it is.. Well, i guess early enough for the sun to be up. I stand up and stretch out my sore limbs, brushing off all the shit that got stuck to me. What the heck was I supposed to do now? I'm pretty sure I look like a walking prostitute at this point, and I am NOT trying to get into a bad situation again.

Picking up a shard of mirror on the ground a few feet away from my resting area, I look at my face. Huh, only minimal suckage... Except for my hair that pretty much deflated from running all over the place and sleeping on it. I find a pony tail holder that appears to not have any diseases attached to it, and pull my hair into a bun. Well.. time to go hunt for some food.

As I walk down the alley way toward the busy street ahead, I wonder what i'm going to do with my time. I obviously need a job seeing I have no money with me. I can't even remember if I had any to begin with! All that matters now is that I have none.

I turn the corner onto the street and am hit with the scent of hot dog wafting from a nearby food stand. I see the owner is chatting with what appears to be a regular, so I quickly snatch up one of the tinfoil logs and keep walking. I fast walk into another alleyway entrance and have a mini celebration over one of the worst things I've ever done in my life. I unwrap the tinfoil and chow down on the greasy meat. Sure they were never a favorite of mine, but at this point I could care less.

"And what do we have here? Hey there little chickie, you in the wrong place?" I whip my head over to see a black man who appears to be in his early 20's, weaving around like he just got off the tilt-a-whirl.

"N-nope, I'm not. I was just going actually," I bolt off, leaving a quarter of the hot dog i didn't get to finish. God, how does anyone get peace here? I go back out the alley way, making sure to go the opposite way of the stand. Huh, it's actually kinda cool looking here.

Emerging from the backstreets, I came upon the inner harbor. I watched as the ships gently rocked back and forth in the water, and the little kids squealing to their moms to hurry up so that they could be the first ones in line to enter the aquarium.

I make my way over to the main area where benches like the dock. I take a seat and bask in the sun as it warms my body that seemed to be perpetually freezing while I was at home.

"Strange how I keep managing to find you. I personally think you're just following me."

Oh. God. Please. No.

"Not even gonna look at me now sweetheart?" I slowly turn to my left to see Harry sitting at the other end of the long bench. How the hell did I not notice he appeared?

"No, I'm not!" I turn to get up, but he grabs me around the waste so I'm trapped against his chest. To others we look like a couple enjoying the harbor, but I knew the truth.

"So why'd you run off? I thought we were getting along sooo nicely." He whispers in my ear and he slowly moves his nose up and down my jaw line.

"I don't trust strangers. Especially not ones who wear bandanna's and are covered in an ass-load of tattoo's!"

"Guess I just gotta befriend you then!" He releases his grip around my waist, only to capture my right hand in his own. He starts walking away, tugging me along behind him," C'mon buttercup, times a waistin!"

Why the fuck did I ever leave home?
