I walked down the empty halls slowly. My heavy suitcase slightly causing me to walk slower. The wheels slightly squeaked as it rolled across the newly waxed floor. I looked around this place one last time. The white walls. The white floors, the white beds. Eveything was white. I have grown sick of that color. After 5 years of being trapped in here, I was finally free. Free of this hell, well that's what it seemed to me. 5 years of pain and grief. 5 years of my life wasted, and disappointments. 5 years of one to many suicide attemps. Now I was free. I walked up to the nurse who smiled widely at me. If her smile could speak it would be saying "Im proud of you". When I first checked into this hospital the nurses gave me looks of sympathy, and pity. It made me sick considering I've been getting those all my life. The nurse dressed in all white. Of course she was. Gave me two quarters for the phone. I smiled and walked over leaving my suitcase so I dot have to drag it. I shakily called the only person who actually cared about me. He has helped me though all of it.
"Delilah? I told you not to call unless the day has come" the familiar voice I haven't heard in years spoke. I cried, but for once the here happy tears. "Li? what's wrong? are you okay?" they asked alarmed. I cleared my throat. "E-ed I'm f-free"
