We looked up at the sky and my fingers intwined in his. The wind blew the grass around us, so that we were covered by tall green strands of it, blowing in the breezes. I shivered as some of blades of grass floated on my face, freezing from being exposed to the cold night air.

"Hey." I said turning to Louis, a feeling of serenity washing over me at the perfection of this moment. I hated the fact that I was going to have to ruin it, but I couldn't keep this to myself anymore. He smiled at me and stroked my face with his hand and I could feel the tears brimming at my eyes. He nodded his head slightly, urging me to continue and I swallowed the giant lump that had suddenly formed in my throat. "We lost Alice." I said and his eyes grew wide and h sat up straight.

"What? How?" He asked and I could only shake my head. I couldn't say anything more, and yet the news was only half-way through. My grip on his hand tightened and I stared into his eyes, hoping he would undersrand and give me the strength to go on. He laid back on the ground and stared at the stars for a second, the lights looking like diamonds against the midnight.

"There's more Louis." I choked the words out and he looked at me again, reaching out to wipe away the tears I hadn't noticed had began to stream down my face, leaving streaks in my make up. He brought his face up close to mine, leaning in so close I could feel the warmth of his breath trailing down my neck. "So, I took a test, and.. well... I'm pregnant." I whispered and his face twisted into a mixture of so many different emotions.

"You're.. what?" He asked softly, and I shrunk back, breaking away from the grasp he had on my face. I turn away from him, staring off into the sky. I felt one of his arms wrap around my waist while the other one wrapped under me, he flicked his arm and I was lifted up and spun around so that I was facing him. I looked up at him, tears in my eyes.

"I'm sorry." I whispered, burying my face in his neck. His arms wrapped around me and he tried to pull me away from his neck and make me enter the conversation. I pulled away slightly and looked at him to see him smiling down at me, contradicting the anger I thought he would have towards me.

"Sorry for what?" He asked and I shrugged my shoulders, my arms brushing against his as he pulled my so our noses were almost touching. I felt better knowing that at least he wasn't mad at me.

"For being pregnant." I said and his blue eyes turned a darker shade of blue as the clouds rolled over his eyes and he stared at me darkly. I shrunk back into his chest again and could feel him stroking my hair as his chin rested on my head.

"Don't you ever say that." He whispered in my ear, his hot breath steaming on my ear as it collided with the cold night air. "We may have lost Alice, but now we have a real family." He said and I couldn't help but let the tears start raining down my face all over again as he kissed away as many tears as he could.

He stood up and grabbed my hand, pulling me out of the grass and spinning me around. "Louis! Stop, I'm pregnant! What if you drop me?" I screamed and he put me down gently, pulling me in and grabbing my waist, waltzing me around the small meadow we were in.

"I have a proposal for you." Louis said and he stared at me intently and I nodded, a smile on my face which I was sure was streaked and crazy from all the crying. I nodded and he stared at me for a second before continuing. "If we get married right after the tour, instead of signing you to the record right away, then I promise I'll make sure the boys drop our schedule so I can make sure I'm here every step of the way." He said and I instantly nodded.

"I can make that promise to you." I said and he kissed me softly before dragging me out of the meadow and to the small black BMW that was parked on the dirt road. "Let's go home." I said and giggled as he opened the car door for me, letting me step inside before closing the door behind me. He quickly got in on the other side and started the car, letting us drive away.
