Harry’s P.O.V
What happened last night? I asked myself by sitting up yawning. I turned to see if Chai was asleep but she wasn’t there. Then I looked around the room and realized this isn’t my room. I saw Zayn and Kirsten in the bed across from mine. I also saw that Zayn was awake.
“Hey man why am I in your room? Where’s Chai and Kayla?” I asked rubbing my eyes. He just looked at me and pointed towards the door. I stood up and walked across the hall to my room. When I opened the door it was silent. I walked over to the beds expecting to see Kayla and Chai but all I saw were two unmade beds. I looked around the room and realized their bags were gone also. What the heck happened? I sat on the bed with my head in my hands trying figure out what happened when I looked at the table by the bed. I saw Chai’s engagement ring and the necklace I gave her. This is bad I had to figure out what happened! I walked out of my room and down the hall to Louis room. He will tell me. I walked to his room and he answered that door. He looked pissed to see me.
“Why happened last night? Chai and Kayla aren’t here but her ring and necklaces are.” I said frantically.
“They left last night.” I said crossing his arms and looking at anything but me. Ok this is really really weird.
“Why did they leave?” I asked running my hands through my hairs.
“They left because last night you beat up your fiancé and almost Kayla but Chai got in the way.” Louis said his voice dripping with anger. I didn’t I wouldn’t do what her dad did to her mum. Did I?
“We have a press conference in two hours so you might want to start getting ready now.” He said closing the door in my face. I can’t believe I did that.
Chaianne’s P.O.V
Kayla only woke up once during the flight but for most of it she was asleep. When we landed Gemma was there waiting like Louis said she would. Anne was with her also. When I walked up to them carrying Kayla they each gave me a hug. I’m guessing Louis told Gemma what happened and she told Anne because they both apologized. I gave them a weak smile and we walked over to baggage claim to get my bas. Once we did we took them out to the car and drove to my flat. When we got in I put my stuff by the door not bothering to unpack just to pack it again.
“Hey Anne and Gemma could you help me pack up Kayla and I’s room and also maybe drive me to go get boxes?” I asked sheepishly. They both agreed. We also went and changed my phone number. I gave to them and I told them to only give it to Louis, Liam, Niall, Zayn, and Robin. They nodded their heads in understandment. We then went and go the boxes so I can start packing and be moved out by the time Harry gets back. That night we had the whole house packed and a new house for Kayla, the new baby or babies and I. We were moving in tomorrow.
3 months later
Today I’m going for my 4 moth check up with the baby. I told Anne, Gemma, and Robin that I was pregnant the day they helped me move into my new house. They promised not to tell Harry even though Anne thinks I should tell him. The lads and girls also promised not to tell him. I’m starting to show but not that much so I just wear oversized sweatshirts in public. I know when I really begin to show it will be hard to cover but I’ll deal with that when it comes. Today I’m just excited to find out the gender of my baby. Gemma said she would meet Kayla and I at the doctors. Usually Anne would but Harry is visiting her today so Gemma is coming with me. It’s time like these where I really wish I had my mum with me. I snapped out of my thought by Kayla running over and jumping in my arms.
“Ready to go see if you’re having a little brother or sister bug?” I asked putting her in her car seat. She nodded her head making me laugh. I haven’t said anything about Harry to her and she hasn’t asked about him. He really scared her. Sometimes she’ll wake up in the middle of the night crying because she had a nightmare with him in it. We pulled into a parking spot and I got Kayla out of her seat and held her hand. When we walked in I walked to the receptionist and told her I had an appointment. She told me the doctor would be with me in a minute. As I went to sit Gemma came in. she spotted Kayla and I then walked over to us.
“Are you excited to see if I have a little niece or nephew in there?” Gemma asked poking my stomach. I rolled my eyes and nodded my head. The doctor called my name and we followed her into the room. We went through the normal procedures and now it was time for the ultra sound. The doctor put the cold gel on my stomach then placed the wand thingy on it. She moved it around till she found the baby. I knew I would cry so I wouldn’t look.
“Are you ready to find out the gender of this baby?” The doctor asked looking at me. I nodded my head yes afraid that if I spoke a sob would come out instead.
“You are having a girl. Wait what is this? You are having a girl and a boy!” the doctor said looking at the monitor. I can’t be having twins that’s impossible! I looked over at the monitor and sure enough I saw two heads.
“But I thought you said I was only having one.” I said frantically. I can’t raise three kids on my own but I can’t give any of them away because they are my babies. Gemma could see the look on my face because she said she would always be here to help me even if she had to move in. I thanked her. As the doctor printed the pictures to the ultra sounds I wiped the gel off of my stomach and pulled my shirt down. When the doctor gave me the copies I thanked her and we set up an appointment for me for next month then we left. Gemma said she thinks Harry is gone now so we could go give Anne the copies of the ultra sound. I placed Kayla in her car seat then walked to the driver’s side and got in. I drove to Anne’s house behind Gemma. I parked the car across the street from the house then went and picked Kayla up out of her seat then carried her across the street to the house. When I walked up the walkway to the house I didn’t look to see if Harry’s car was in the drove way so I was hoping he was gone. Gemma was at the door waiting for us then she opened it.
“Mum we have ultrasounds of you grandchildren!” Gemma shouted walking into the living room laughing. I was laughing also. When she went to walk in she stopped laughing and walking so I bumped into her. I was about to ask her why she stopped but a voice I never thought I would hear again in person spoke.
“Why did you tell me that I’ll be an uncle of two?” Harry asked coming and hugging Gemma. I tried to walk out the house but Harry already noticed me.
“Ch…Chai?” He asked. I turned around and looked at the ground. Kayla buried her head in my shoulder.
“Hi Har...Harry.” I said still looking down trying not to cry. Harry walked over to me and tried to hug me but I backed away. Harry let his arms drop then he turned back to Gemma.
“So why wasn’t I notified that I was an uncle?” Harry asked her again. Gemma shook her head before answering.
“You’re not an uncle.” She replied crossing her arms. A look of confusion came across his face.
“There is only two of us. If it’s not you and it’s not me then who is it?” Harry asked looking around at all of us. We all were silent and avoided his gaze.
“Guys?” Harry asked desperately. I got the ultra sounds out of my purse and handed them to Harry.
“Meet your son and daughter.” I said while handing them to him then I walked out.
Third Person’s P.O.V
Harry stood frozen looking at the ultrasounds that Chaianne had handed him.He shook his head then ran out of the door after her. What did she mean he had a son and daughter? He had to know. He ran to her car that was parked across the street after she closed Kayla’s door. He turned her around and kissed her. For a moment she kissed him back but then she pushed him away.
“What do you want Harry?” she asked tearing up. Harry tried to wipe the tear but she wiped it away before he could.
“What do you mean I have a son and daughter? How did this happen?” He asked her. She began to laugh through her tears but it was a sarcastic laugh.
“You know how this happened and now I’m carrying your children” She said whispering that last part looking at the ground. Harry lifted her chin so she was looking in his eyes.
“Did I kick them that night?” Harry asked referring to the night Chai and Kayla left. Chai knew what he was talking about also and shook her head no. Harry let out a sigh of relief that he didn’t even know he was holding in. Harry kissed her again but this time instead of kissing back or pushing away Chai just cried. Harry pulled her into a hug which made her cry more. When she pulled away from the hug her and Harry stared into each other’s eyes.
“Babe please give me another chance. I know I hurt you, but I was drunk. I don’t even remember it happening. Please I need you and bug.” Harry pleaded her.
“I don’t know Harry. I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t go through what my mom did and you scared Kayla. If this is who you become when you’re drunk then I don’t want to be with you.” Chai said beginning to cry again. Hearing this broke Harry’s heart. He made his bug scared of him.
“I won’t drink ever again. Please babe.” Harry begged her beginning to cry. She looked at him and it broke her heart seeing him cry but she had to do what was right for these three kids.
“Harry I have to think about three kids here. Anyways how to you expect Kayla to stop being scared of you?” she asked him seriously. Harry turned away from her and opened Kayla’s door and kneeled so he would be looking her eye to eye.
“Hi bug” Harry said trying to kiss her cheek. Kayla began to cry and call for Chai. Chai tried to reach around Harry and pick her up but Harry gave Chai a look asking if she would let him fix it. Chai held her hands up in the air and backing away.
“Kayla. I’m not going to hurt you. Daddy loves you and mummy.” I said unbuckling her seat.
“No daddy is mean he hurt mummy.” Kayla said still crying.
“I know and daddy is sorry for that. I promise I won’t be mean or hurt you or mummy ever again. Ok?” He asked holding his arms out for a hug. Kayla hesitated before hugging him.
“I love you bug.” Harry said crying and hugging Kayla tightly.
“I love you more daddy.” Kayla said hugging Harry and also crying. Seeing this made Chai cry harder. Harry picked Kayla up in one arm then turned towards Chai and held his other arm out for Chai. Chai didn’t come hug him right away so Harry walked towards her and hugged her. When she felt Harry’s arm around her she couldn’t help but think this is the way things were supposed to be. Harry kissed the top of her head still crying. All three of them were still crying actually.
“I’m sorry babe. Please forgive me. I didn’t mean it. I would never purposely hurt you or bug or now those two little miracles growing inside of you.” Harry said through his tears. Chai nodded her head.
“I know you wouldn’t. You scared you scared us Haz. I forgive you. You can’t ever get rid of me that easily.” She said smiling through her tears. He looked down at her smiling. He then bent down and kissed her on the lips. When the pulled away they heard cheering from across the street. They looked over and saw all of their friends along with Anne and Robin clapping and yelling making them laugh. Gemma had called them and they all had come right over. Chai began to walk across the street to the others but Harry stopped her.
“I think you forgot this.” Harry said pulling out the engagement ring he gave her and putting it on her finger. She looked down at it and smiled then kissed him. When they pulled apart they all were smiling. Harry and Chai held hands and Kayla rested her head on Harry’s shoulder form her spot in his arms. They walked across the street where there friends and family were.
“So are the two love birds back?” Louis asked. Harry looked at Chai and Chai looked at him then they nodded their heads yes.
“That’s great man! I love you but if you hurt any of them again you are dead.” Zayn said seriously. Everyone else nodded their head in agreement with Zayn.
“I know but I don’t plan on hurting any of them ever! They are my life, my voice, and my reason to be.” Harry said smiling down at Chai. The girls all awed. They all agreed that they should go out to dinner to celebrate so they all got in there cars. Harry drove Chai’s car with Kayla in back and Chai in the passenger’s seat. They all met at Nandos. Chai ordered as much as Niall did.
“Hungry much. I expect this from Niall not you.” Kirsten said making everyone laugh.
“Hey I’m pregnant leave me alone.” Chai said sticking her tongue out at her. The rest of the evening was fun. When they all finished eating they said bye and gave each other hugs then left. Harry drove back to his mum’s house to pick up his range rover. Harry and Chai agreed that he would follow Chai to her new house since he didn’t know where it was. When they got to the house Chai put Kayla’s pajamas on and she and Harry read Kayla a bed time story then Harry sang her to sleep. When she was asleep the walked out of her room quietly and cracked the door. They then went to Chai’s room and Chai changed into her pajamas in the bathroom. When she came out she was wearing shorts and a tank top. The tank top was tight so you could see her bump. Harry walked over to her and placed his hand over her bump then kissed her. She smiled into the kiss. When they pulled away they walked to Chai’s bed. Harry striped down to his boxers then climbed into bed with Chai. Harry wrapped his arms around Chai placing his hands on her bump which meant Chai’s back was to him. Harry kissed the top of her head.
“Night Baby girl.” Harry said closing his eyes.
“Night babe.” She said snuggling into his arms. They both soon fell asleep.
