“Oh hush you,” Piper said, “You know I’m a hopeless romantic now go have fun love birds. Just not too much fun I don’t want to be an auntie just yet.” "Piper!" I yelled, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Go. Before it gets worse" Sam told me. And suddenly it was just me and Niall.
"Here. These are for you" Niall told me, handing me the boquet of flowers. They were all different coloured carnations, which happened to be my favourites. "Piper told me you liked them.." he said, sounding nervous. I nodded grinning. "They're my favourites" I replied. H e grinned. "Perfect."
"So, where are we going?" I asked him. "Ice skating" he replied simply, taking hold of my hand as we began to walk off campus to his car. "Really?" I asked my eyes widening. "Yep" he replied grinning. "I remember you telling me a few weeks ago how you always wanted to learn how to ice skate. And now I'm gonna teach you" he told me. I was pretty surprised he had remembered and couldn't help but grin.

When we got to the skating rink Niall payed for the two of us. I was getting pretty nervous as I put on the skates. What if I messed up really bad and made a show of myself?
Niall seemed to notice my face because he smiled at me. "Relax Mac, I promise it'll be fine he told me. I just nodded in response as we stood up and made our way onto the ice. Niall took hold of my hand and led me.
He was very patient with me showing me exactly how to do it but it turned out I didn't need much coaching. I was actually pretty good at it. Still, I held onto his hand, liking the feeling of my hand in his.
