First Kiss
Piper’s POV
The boys from One Direction had invited us over to their hotel room and for some reason I was nervous as could be. What if I said something completely stupid or dumb? What if I said the wrong thing? I was looking at my outfit in the mirror somewhat satisfied with what I was wearing when we got back from the hospital earlier today. I was packing a bag when Mac and Sam looked at weirdly.
“I have a ton of homework I have to get done by Monday,” I said, “I have to come up with three different designs and then when we get to class I actually have to put them together.”
“You can do homework tomorrow Piper,” Mac said and I shook my head no.
“I don’t think they’ll mind,” I said pushing my glasses up to the bridge of my nose, “If not then I’ll go find a coffee shop and wait until you two are done hanging out.”
“Nope we’re a package deal,” Sam said matter-of-factly, “You can’t stay we don’t stay.”
“Thanks girls,” I grinned as we headed out to grab a cab since the boys were staying at some hotel in the middle of downtown.
“So what do we have to do?” I asked for like the third time in the cab.
“Show our phones to the security guards at the door and then Niall said they’d all be waiting for us in the lobby,” Mac said from reading her phone.
“Looks like someone’s been busy texting all day,” Sam teased and we watched Mac blush.
“I have not,” she said and I smiled lightly and felt my own phone buzz.
I pulled it out and smiled lightly when I saw Liam pop up. I unlocked my phone and smiled at the text.

Liam hadn’t text me at all today but the same text made me smile slightly. No one had ever shown in interest me before. Well I wasn’t as fashionable in high school as I was now. In high school I was the school nerd. I rarely wore my contacts and rarely actually put outfits together for school. I was so focused on getting a scholarship that in the end I didn’t even need it since I became a nanny for a year and took online classes. That’s when I decided to change my look and before I knew it I was wearing contacts on a daily basis and I was looking like a girl who cared about herself.

I hit the send button to see that we were pulling up to a huge hotel and I think all three of our mouths dropped.
“This place is huge,” I said.
“Wow,” Mac said as we got out of the cab and I paid for the ride over.
All three girls looked at me and I just shook my head.
“Don’t worry about it,” I said, “Pay me back later.”
The girls rolled their eyes and we walked into the hotel with no problems but I could hear the complaints of the other girls. I just rolled my eyes as we headed in and of course the boys of One Direction were sitting in the lobby all on their phones.
“Well I hope you weren’t waiting for anyone special,” I said and all their heads snapped up and they smiled at us.
“Glad you could join us loves,” Liam said standing up and then they noticed the bag and giant notepad I had with me.
“I have a ton of homework,” I said, “I was wondering if I could do double duty?”
“Of course,” Liam said quickly cutting off anyone who was about to speak.
Liam then walked over to me and grabbed the pad out of my hand.
“I can carry this,” he grinned at me and I blushed lightly.
“Come on,” Harry said, “Delilah’s been dying to meet you.”
“Delilah?” we all asked.
“His girlfriend,” Louis said.
“Where’s Perrie Zayn?” Mac asked as we got into the elevator.
“She’s back in the recording studio with the girls,” he said, “We’re skyping later tonight. She really wants to meet the girls Louis threw his microphone at. She wants to ask why Sam she hasn’t killed Lou yet.”
“I said it was an accident like a million times!” Louis exclaimed like a child making all of us laugh.
We then walked into the living room, and we were all attacked in a hug by a very hyper and friendly girl.
“Hi I’m Delilah,” she said hugging us, “I’m Harry’s girlfriend. It’s nice to meet you girls finally. The boys won’t shut up about you.”
We all had to laugh and I felt a bit more comfortable with her because she was American as well.
“I’m Piper,” I said.
“I’m Mac,” Mac said.
“And I’m microphone girl,” Sam said, “but my real name is Sam.”
“Nice to meet you girls,” she said and then made her way over to Harry.
I followed Liam over to what was the kitchen area. I thanked him for bringing them up for me.
“So what are you doing?” he asked as I pulled out the print that I wanted to use on the dress and pair of pants I was wanting to make.
“Sketching out a dress and a pair of pants,” I said pushing my glasses up my nose again.
“For what?” he asked.
“My design class,” I said grabbing a pencil and I started drawing.
It was silent for a while until I felt someone’s breath on my neck and jumped slightly and spun around to see Liam grinning sheepishly at me.
“Sorry,” he said, “I was just watching.”
“It’s alright,” I said feeling flustered and feeling butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
I went to grab my pencil that fell on the floor when I stood up to see Liam was a lot closer than before. I couldn’t say anything because I was frozen to the spot I was standing in. Liam smiled lightly at me as he pushed a stray piece of hair behind my ear and then closed the gap between us and kissed me. I was shocked at first but soon I responded and I felt Liam pull me closer to him by my waist and my hands were on his chest. When he pulled away, he was smiling lightly and I was still in a daze. Liam Payne was my first kiss.
“Wow,” he said.
“Wow is right,” I said looking down and then up, “Who would’ve known a first kiss could be like that.”
