Phone Numbers
Piper’s POV
After we were talking as a group we broke up into our own little conversation. Niall and Mac were quietly talking to each other which made me grin. Harry and Zayn were on their phones doing god knows what and Liam and I were playing cards with a left over deck in the waiting room.
“They’re so cute,” I grinned and Liam looked over my shoulder and he smiled too.
“They are,” Liam grinned, “So do you have a special boy back at home?”
“Nope,” I said, “I’ve talked to more boys here than I ever have back home.”
“I find that hard to believe love,” Liam said smiling and I shook my head.
“Absolute truth,” I said and he just grinned on me.
“Well that’s just mad,” he said and I laughed as I noticed his eyes lit up.
We talked a little bit more but before we knew it Louis was coming out of the ER and I was the first one to get up and rush over to where he was standing with Mac.
“How is she?” she asked.
“She’s okay,” he replied and I could see relief rush through his body which made me smile lightly and I breathed out a sigh of relief.
“What did I tell you,” Mac said and I just rolled my eyes.
“Can we see her now?” I asked hopeful.
“Well she’s asleep now so I don’t think so. . .” he trailed off and I could tell he was feeling guilty.
“Oh right, okay,” I said that made perfect sense.
Zayn then said that they should probably go and it made sense it was already three in the morning and who know what those boys had planned tomorrow. Louis said he’d be here bright and early in the morning. Louis, Zayn, and Harry all said goodbye and left but Liam was hanging around.
“Um. . .Do you think. . .I could,” Liam stuttered rubbing the back of his neck.
“Let me see your phone,” I smiled lightly a blush coating the top of my cheeks.
Liam handed me his phone and I quickly typed in my number and put them in his contacts as Piper ER Girl ;). I then called myself from his phone and then I had his number.
“See you around Liam,” I smiled handing him his phone.
“See you around love,” Liam said and then kissed my cheek which caused me to blush even more.
He then left and Niall soon followed after him. Once they left, Mac and I turned to each other.
“Well that was the most eventful night ever,” I said as we sat in the waiting room chairs.
“Tell me about it,” she said and I smirked at her.
“Did you get Niall’s number?” I asked and she blushed.
“No but I gave him mine,” she said and I squealed causing the secretary to look at us rudely and I sat down and sheepishly grinned, “I saw you swapping numbers with Liam though.”
“I highly doubt anything will happen though,” I said, “I think he was just being nice.”
“Oh whatever,” Mac said rolling her eyes at me.
“You go back to the dorm room,” I said, “I don’t have classes tomorrow and you do.”
“No way,” she said, “I’m not leaving until we see Sam.”
I sighed knowing I probably wasn’t going to win this argument so I sighed.
“Fine,” I sighed, “I guess we’re sleeping here tonight then since I’m not moving either.”
So far this new life was absolutely crazy. I’ve been in England only a few days I’ve talked to two boys, one of them famous, and made two new friends. I couldn’t wait to see what was going to come next.
