Piper’s POV
This date was actually going pretty well. Sam was laughing and talking to Damon while Mac was getting all flirty with Jack which left me with Will. We were all going to eat dinner at a diner somewhere close to campus and then they said they had a surprise or something. Will and I were bringing up the rear of the group and were making some small talk.
“So you’re studying abroad,” he said and I smiled lightly.
“I am,” I said grinning, “I’m from Georgia.”
“I see,” Will said and I laughed.
“You have no clue where that is do you?” I giggled and Will blushed.
“Not a clue,” he said, “Just that it’s in the US.”
“Well its on the Gulf of Mexico if helps you out some,” I said, “but what is this surprise that you have for us?”
“If I told you then it wouldn’t be a surprise,” he said winking at me and I sighed dramatically.
We all sat down in a giant booth and soon we were having a group conversation. We soon found out that Damon, Jack, and Will were all roommates and were all studying business. The girls and the boys were having a great conversation when I noticed something sitting in between me and Will. It looked like it fell out of his pockets and I was curious as to what it was so I picked up the tickets slowly and I read them under the table. They were tickets to a one night One Direction concert that was being held on campus Friday night. I quietly slid the tickets in my bag and soon noticed three girls coming up to our tables who were pretty upset.
“What the bloody hell Will?” a girl yelled, “You’re supposed to be dating me and you’re out on a date with this slag!?”
Whoa. I had no clue what slag meant but I was pretty sure the girl just called me a whore and there was no way I was whore. I’ve never been on a date let alone had my first kiss yet.
“You have a girlfriend?” I asked raising my eyebrows.
“Oh they all do,” the girl who yelled first said, “Did they not tell you?”
“Obviously not,” Sam said, “Or we wouldn’t be here right now.”
I was about to put my two sense in when I saw that Sam and Mac were pretty uncomfortable.
“Well you girls can have them,” I said, “We’re not fighters and we’re not boyfriend stealers.Keep them but I’m pretty sure they’ll do this so you might want to upgrade.”
I then stood up from the table and Sam and Mac got up too. Jack, Will, and Damon were so shocked that they didn’t say a word. We were walking away from the table when a girl said something rude about Mac and Sam and I quickly spun around and marched my way up to her.
“Why don’t you say that a little louder?” I asked, “I couldn’t quiet hear it.”
The girl’s eyes got wide and I crossed my arms. I felt someone tugging my arm and Mac was giving me a drop it look.
“I hear you start rumors about any of us,” I hissed at the girls, “And I will destroy you. I don’t care who you are.”
I then spun around and followed the girls out.
“Ugh guys are pathetic,” I groaned as we got out of the restaurant.
“Tell me about it,” Sam sighed and we saw Mac frowning.
“Hey perk up beautiful,” I grinned throwing my arm around her shoulders remembering what I got from Will.
“Why?” she asked quietly.
“Because I just got their tickets for the One Direction concert that’s happening on campus on Friday,” I grinned, “They’re in my bag as we speak.”
“What?” Mac and Sam asked shocked.
“Come on,” I grinned grabbing their arms, “Let’s go back to the room order pizza and I’ll explain!”
Even though tonight became a total flop on the boy agenda I was not going to have it fizzle out. Besides we were going to see one of the hottest boy bands alive on Friday for free, who could complain about that?
