Our wedding was beautiful. Dad walked me down the aisle with tears dotting his blue eyes while Harry’s were watching me, sparkling in the light.

“I love you, Veronica,” Dad said as he passed me to Harry. He beamed down at me, taking in my dress.

“It was worth the wait,” he whispered in my ear. I knew what he was referring to.

Anne, along with Ava and Laney were my bridesmaids. Niall was Harry’s only groomsman. The ceremony was a small one, consisting of only close family members.

“You may now kiss the bride,” the priest said. Harry pulled me in tightly and placed his lips on mine. It was a warm kiss.

My father was watching Darcy and Olly in the crowd. I could hear their babyish giggles from afar.

At the ceremony, Harry and I fed each other cake, managing to get it all over us. In the end, we laughed about it anyway. We danced, laughed, and confessed our love all in one night.

Soon, it was all over. Anne was set to watch the kids while Harry and I went to Hawaii for our honeymoon where we would stay for two weeks. Just the two of us.

We would finally be together and nothing could keep us apart.

Absolutely nothing.

“I love you with all my heart, Veronica Caroline Styles.”

I smiled at the use of Harry’s last name now being mine.

“And I love you, Harry Edward Styles.”

“Always and forever.”

“Forever.”

I laid my head on his chest and drifted off into a sleep that I hoped would be filled with glorious dreams of our future together.
