What I Don't Remember

Haters

I walked down the hall with my algebra book and psychology homework in hand hoping not to draw any extra attention to myself. It was bad enough that my health condition had been broadcast to the entire world, but now everyone was also aware that I had been talking to Harry. By the looks of the glares I was getting from the cheer team I didn’t think many people were too happy about it. I was making my way to my locker when a crumbled piece of paper was thrown at me from behind. When I turned to see who it was I saw a blonde in a tight skirt followed by her posse.

“Aren’t you going to pick that up?” She said, chewing her gum obnoxiously.
I put my hand on my hip and rolled my eyes.
“I’d rather not; considering you’re the reason it got there in the first place.”
Her friends snickered as she moved one step closer to invading my personal space.
“Paris, you think you’re special just because you spoke to Harry Styles. He doesn’t like you, he’ll never like you.”
I almost reached in my pocket for the note Harry had given me this morning, it was even in the shape of a heart, but I didn’t want to mess with this girl’s ego.
“You’re a one direction fan I take it?” I asked.
She nodded and pulled out a ticket which had been conveniently placed in her back pocket so she could brag about it.
“Yes, I even sat first row at one of their concerts.” She said, acting as if that were supposed to impress me. “I also met Harry backstage.”
“Oh, did you two get married?” I asked sarcastically.
She frowned at my tone and flipped her hair so that it was no longer in her face. I wish I could say she was one of the prettier mean girls, but she wasn’t. If anything she looked like a pig, and it didn’t help her case that she acted like one too.
“Great thing you lost your memory,” She said, “You’re even more of a bitch now than you were before.”
I looked around and noticed that a small crowd had begun to form around us. If they were expecting a fight, they weren’t going to get one. I stared at the ceiling hoping that god would give me something witty to say, but I had nothing so I just stood there and looked like a complete idiot in front of all my peers. The bell rang and everyone scattered off to their classrooms while I tried to figure out what my schedule was. My first period of the day was physics and lucky for me not only did I have Lana and Taisie in my class, but I also had the blonde girl from the hall along with two of her posse members who grinned at me when I walked in. I was about to take a seat in the back of the classroom when the blonde girl whose name was Jade walked up behind me and snatched the pink paper from my back pocket.

“Give it back!” I yelled.
“Are you trying to hide something, Paris?” She said, raising her brow.
By this point I was beyond infuriated and all I wanted to do was get out of this dumb school and run straight into Harry’s arms. It was hard to believe that I had already wasted three years of my life in this hellhole. I give my past self props for surviving that long; because I didn’t think I could make it through the rest of the day. Jade had just begun to read the note when the teacher came up behind us.

“Girls, you know the rules,” he said, “No passing notes in my classroom.”
He took the heart shaped paper from Jade and then placed it on his desk face up. My cheeks flushed from the embarrassment, anyone could just walk up to his desk and see the private note that Harry had written only for my eyes to see. I glared over at Jade who looked just as upset as I was, but I also sensed a hint of jealousy. She took a seat next to her friends and I took a seat alone in the back. That was when I saw it. Someone had written something in big black letters on the whiteboard. It said, Harry’s whore. The teacher turned around and I will never forget the look on his face when he saw it. His eyes darkened and I could have sworn I saw smoke coming out of his ears.

“Who did this?” He said, scanning the face of every person in the room, “If someone doesn’t confess in the next five seconds I am calling Mr. Meyer down here to give you all detentions.”
Jade raised her hand.
“I did it Mr. T,” She smiled over at me, “but it was Paris’ idea.”
I shot up from my seat.
“That is not true!” I screamed.
He ignored me and began to fill out a pass for the two of us.
“Both of you go to the office. I will be calling down there in five minutes to make sure you made it.”
I rolled my eyes before grabbing my bags and walking out the door.

I really hope you update soon. Because I was hoping that you were aactuallly done and this story was literally complete...

I'm sorry. Idk why my massages repeat themselves. Ughhh.

I know a girl who had jumped over people in a basketball game at my school and when she came back down, someone tripped her and she hit her head which caused her to lose her memory for the rest of the year. She didn't remember who her boyfriend was. She wasn't snobby. She even began to like sweet tea, unlike before :) then she eventually got her memory back.
