Closer
Colton walked into my room. "Hey are you alright?" he asked. I had been sleeping so this woke me up. I looked over. "Oh sorry I thought you where awake!" He seemed upset by this. "Its alright come in" I said. He came over and sat on my bed. "Whats up?" I asked. "I over heard Zayn and his mom talking" he said. "Yea so" I said. "They said their moving" Colton said. My heart sank. "Are you sure?" I asked. "Well this is what happened"

Colton's POV
I was walking into the kitchen when I heard Zayn and his mom talking. "But mom why!?" He asked. "Because we need a new start! We need to see our family and tell them the news!" His mom said. "But what about Colton and Liv? We still need to talk to them! to ask them!" Zayn yelled.
"Im sure they will be glade to hear the news! Its going to be alright Zayn!" I jumped ran up to my room then went to Liv's room.

Liv's POV
"Every thing will be ok! that doesn't mean their moving! They could be having a family cook out and Zayn might be worried that all the people might scare us or something!" I smiled and rubbed his head. "Ether is NOTHING to worry about" I smiled at him.
I was horrified. i can't believe they took us in and now their moving! How could they! I couldn't let Colton see that I thought they where leaving, moving away. But I couldn't help but to let a tear slid down my face. Before Colton could see it I whipped it away. "Alright your right" Colton said.
"COLTON! Liv! CAN YOU COME DOWN HERE!" I heard Zayn scream from down stairs. I smiled and got up walking down stairs. "Come one just take a deep breath" I told Colton as we walked into the living room.
"Sit sit!" Zayn's mom seemed exited. I sat and Colton was next to me. "We want to know if you would be ok if we adopt you!" Zayn's mom blurted out. My eyes grow and shock took over my body. Their not moving they want to adopt us! THEY WANT TO ADOPT US! "YES!" Colton jumped up in the air. I smiled and looked at him. He sat back down and hugged me. "Liv?" Zayn asked. "I--I--" I stuttered. "Taking that was a yes!" Zayn laughed.
I smiled and looked at Colton. "YAY! Now we're having a family cook out so you can meet every one alright?" Zayn mom said. "Ok" Colton said. "Alright now go run along now" Zayn mom said. Zayn, I and Colton all stood and walked up stairs.
"How long?" I asked. "What?" Zayn asked. "How long have you and your mom been talking about this?" I asked. "About 2 weeks" Zayn said. I smiled and stopped at the top of the stairs. "Thank you Zayn, this meens the world to Colton" I smiled. "Not you?" he asked. 'Well yes, but his happiness is more important them mine" I said. "Who said that?" he asked. "I did" I smiled. He rolled his eyes.
I smiled and closed my eyes hugging him. "Thank you Zayn" I smiled. He hugged me back. I heard the front door open. "I'm going to my room" I said with a smile as I pulled away and walked away. "Jenna?" I heard from the bottom of the stairs. I looked down to see Niall. He had a hurt look on his face.
"Niall!" I smiled. "Come up here! I have been waiting for you!" I smiled. "Well it looks like you moved on pretty quick" Niall spat. "What are you talking about?" Zayn asked. "I saw you two at the top of the stairs! You said you where going to wait 2 mouths before dating again!" Niall said, his voice cracking him. "DATING!" I yelped.
"No no NOOOOOOOOO! I was hugging Zayn because his mom is going to adopt Colton and I!" I said. "Oh" Niall said. His angered face turned to sorrow. "You thought that I would date Zayn! Luke just left! I can't believe you!" I growled and walked down the hall. I heard Niall run up the stairs. I opened my door and started to close it.
Niall pushed the door open with one hand and closed it. I turned around and he grabbed me. Cupping my face in his hands and bringing me up to his face. He kissed me, I was in shock. I kissed him back and put my hands on his arms. He pulled away and put his forehead to mine. "I know your mad at me, I know your not dating right now but I just want to be your friend, your best friend, closer to you then anyone else on this earth. Closed then you are to your blood family, closer then you are to Kip and Jessy, Please I promised I would be there for you when Luke left and I am I want to be! Please just let me be" Niall said looking into my eyes.
I was still in shock from that kiss and my lips felt numb from it. I wanted to kiss him again! I felt butterflies when he looked at me and my heart raises! I can't stand to be away from him and I long his touch. I must of stayed quite for to long because he looked down.
"Niall" I said. He looked back up. "Do you feel something?" he asked. "Like right now between us? Sparks, fireworks, fire? Anything?" he asked. I looked down. I heard him sigh. "Not anything" I whispered. I looked up at him. He was looking down. I pulled his face up to mine. Inches away from mine. "Everything" I said. He smiled. I rapped my arms around him and he did the same to me.
I was lost in thought, wrapped in his arms. It was then I realized. I have a crush on him. My insides knotted. I felt nervous. "I love you Niall" I whispered. "I want you to be the closest person to me on earth, I want you to be the best friend I ever had, and I remember your promise" I said. "Now you have to prove to me, prove to me that you can keep it, and be the best friend I could ever have, and be the closest person to me then anyone in the world, prove it" I whispered.
He pulled me tighter. "I'll do more then that, but right now I have to protect you, get to know you, and keep every promise I make to you, thats my job right now" He whispered back.
