Niall's POV:

After a delicious breakfast, I wrapped my arm around Lyn's torso, hugging her towards me. Not wanting to let go. For fear that she would disappear again.

"Where do you want to go?" Liam asked, seeming like the only person paying attention. We were currently in Harry's Range Rover. Louis was babbling about... lamborghinis? Zayn was checking out his basically perfect hair in the rear-view mirror, gasping over a tiny hair out of place. And Harry was just gazing out of the window, lost in his thoughts. Lyn was staring at him, and I fought the urge to elbow her, to tell her to stop. Not because he was my best mate, but because I wanted her to stare at me, not Harry.

I shrugged to Liam's question, thanking God when Lyn stopped looking at Harry to answer Liam. "You know, I've never been to the Big Ben," she grinned. And I noticed that she grew so much since fifth grade, but her smile was still the same, sweet smile. Or it was close. Now, it looked like she was guarding a secret, and it hurt because she was guarding it especially from me, because I knew her well enough to read her like a book. So she was building up guards to protect her secret from me.

Louis leaned forward, so his face was next to Lyn's. "I actually thought that Niall was the only one with the charming Irish smile, but I'm obviously wrong. I mean, look at you!" He pinched her cheeks, but Lyn slapped his hand away jokingly. "You might even have a better smile than Niall's!"

"Hey!" I protested, feeling a smile creeping up. "I have a better smile than her!"

"Come on, guys," Harry said in his raspy voice, and I could literally feel Lyn melt like butter in my arms. "We all know that I have the best smile!"

"In your dreams!" Lyn laughed, throwing back her head. I flicked her hair away from my face, and she teasingly flopped her hair back in my face.

"At least I have the best hair," Zayn volunteered, finally finished with his hairdo.

"Oh, it's on," Harry challenged, "What about my luscious curls? Fans are dying to touch it, while they can't be within a one mile radius over your stiff hair."

"That is so exaggerated!" Zayn exclaimed.

"Just drive!" Lyn giggled, playfully slapping Harry's shoulder. We took off and then we finally reached the Big Ben a few minutes later.

"Wait! Disguises!" Liam called before Lyn opened the door. "Lyn, since fans don't recognize you, open the trunk and go to the left corner. Get the box there, okay?" She nodded solemnly, like it was a huge job that could mean life or death.

"Beanies?!" Lyn nearly shouted as she opened the box.

"And sunglasses," Louis reminded her. She rolled her eyes dramatically. We all put on beanies and sunglasses (I know, lame disguise) and stepped out into the broad sunlight.

An hour later, instead of just checking out the Big Ben, it turned to be a full out tour, including the London Eye. I had neglected to watch Lyn, so when I finally noticed she was gone, I panicked. "Liam. Liam!" I tugged his sleeve frantically. "Where's Lyn?"

He looked around, like he just finally realized she went missing. "And where's Harry?" My heart sank, knowing that they might be together. I immediately started looking around, my feet pounding against the ground like the steady beat of drums.

And I heard their voices. "...tell him?" Lyn!

"If you want to," Harry answered, and I narrowed my eyes. "But just know that I'll be with you every step of the way."

"Thank you," I heard and saw them hug. I turned away, not wanting them to see me. So Lyn definitely has a secret. I was hoping that it was just me, but no. And she didn't want to tell someone, possibly me. And did Harry know her? Or was he just being overly friendly?

I rejoined Liam, Louis, and Zayn, shaking my head no that I hadn't found them. Lie. I felt terrible for lying, but somehow, I thought if was necessary, like they shouldn't know. Like it was only between Harry, Lyn, and me. And it was only between us.

Harry and Lyn finally both turned up, and I forced an unconvincing smile.

"You alright?" Lyn asked me, concerned, reading me like an open book.

"Yeah," I muttered even though I knew it wasn't true. It it probably wont ever be true until I know Lyn's secret.
