Evelyn's POV:

It was at the end of the night and Niall and I were laughing at his joke, hand in hand, walking along in the park. Was I leading him on?

"It's been a long since we've had such a good night like this," Niall said, smiling at me.

I remembered with a pang, all those nights we laughed together, and how I thought I had loved him but now I didn't.

"Yeah," I mumbled, taking a seat next to Niall on a park bench.

He hugged me closer to him, and I snuggled closer to him.

"Why are we sitting on a bench?" I asked and laid down on the grassy ground. "Remember those days when we ditched the bench and went on the grass?"

"Yeah," Niall grinned, laying down next to me.

"Look at the stars," I whispered, admiring the shining lights above me.

"That's the big dipper," Niall said.

"And that's the little dipper," I showed him.

"See that star?" He pointed at the sky. "That bright one? I named it after you, because you would always light up everyone's day."

I leaned over to kiss him on the cheek. "Aww, that's so sweet."

Niall sat up, running his fingers through his bleached hair. I sat up, too. "What's wrong?" I asked, concerned at his sudden change of mood.

"You can always tell, can't you?" Niall whispered, tucking in a stray hair behind my ear. I was suddenly aware of the hanging romance the blanketing night sky and the twinkling stars created.

"I can't fight my feelings anymore," Niall said, and he leaned forward, his soft lips just starting to brush my lips.

I got up, coughing out, "It's late, we have to go." I left Niall there in the park as I walked briskly away from him, but that first kiss from Niall just left me with some strange feelings. Like my love for Harry had diminished and my feelings for Niall had grew in that very minute. But somehow I just couldn't let go of Harry. But I couldn't really forget about Niall either.
