Chapter 60
Jenna P.O.V
~*~ That Night ~*~
"Like the city lights?" Harry asked, his arm around my shoulder. I looked up in his piercing eyes and nodded. It's extremely fun hanging out with him. He smiled and put a light kiss on my head, and we continued walking down the streets. The commotion in London was pretty quiet at night, and I favored that. We walked to a park and sat down on it.
"Why'd you bring me out here?" I asked him. A golden leaf fell onto my lap and I picked it up, smiling.
"For no reason. I just like spending time with you." he replied. Oh, the charm.
"When are you going back on tour?" I asked. He looked at me sadly.
"Next summer.. time goes by quickly nowadays." he answered, hands folded. I looked sadly on the ground, it would be sad not seeing the boys for a while.
"How was it with Alyssa?" I bursted. I covered up my mouth, eyes widened. He chuckled at me.
"If you want to know.. I guess it was okay. It was pretty boring in my opinion, and I just didn't feel it like how much I'm feeling it with you, understand? It's pretty weird hanging out with your ex-girlfriends best friend thought, I can't argue." he replied and I laughed. His innocence was adorable.
"Harry.." I began.
"What?" he asked.
"What do you think about me quitting my job?" I asked him. If this is a conversation filled with honesty, why not.
"Pretty crazy, but it's your choice." he answered. I shrugged at him.
"I always feel stressed after a couple days after work, it gets back killing and my hands are always tired.." I told him, and he nodded his head understanding. Wow, he's pretty easy to talk too.
"Is it normal for friends to fight.." I asked.
"Depends." Harry replied.
"Um.. occasionally. Maybe once or twice a week." I explained.
"That's dangerous. The lads and I never have arguments, rarely that is." he replied. I bit my lip.
"Do you think.. Alyssa and I are falling apart?" I asked him.
"Stay positive love." he whispered in my ear.
Here goes 'love' again.
He pulled me in closer for a hug. I set down the leaf gently on the bench and cracked a small smile.
"So, I guess we should get going.." I said. He smirked.
"I didn't really focus on the time." he replied and I smiled. For the first time that night, I actually faced him literally, not for a second.. for more than five seconds. He looked downish at me, I'm not that short..
"Your eyes twinkle in the night.." I trailed off and he chuckled before I realized what I muttered. I did a small laugh myself.
"Thanks." he said and kissed me on the cheek. We both stood up, hand in hand, swinging it slowly together on the way back.
"Can we go to your place? I kinda don't want to leave you just yet.." I told him. He nodded.
We arrived back at his and the boys flat and we both went into his bedroom, it was really large.. like every room was. I took off my shoes and crawled into the blankets on his bed. He followed and placed his arm firmly around my waist, and pulled us close together so that my head was against his chest. It was warm.. was all I had to say.
This is the first time we're going to be sleeping together on the same bed. Nothing serious.. breathe Jenna. It's nothing emotional.. or is it?
"Good night." he murmured into my hair.
"Good night." I replied and fell asleep almost immediately.
