The Right Road to Love
Chapter 53
Alyssa's P.O.V.
I was hanging out at the apartment with Louis and Zayn. We were watching some movies on Netflix and the clock turned to 2:30 P.M.
This was when Zayn got up slowly and walked over to me and asked "Um, Alyssa? I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go on a date with me tonight?"
Now he was asking me this? After he just broke my best friend's heart he decides to ask me out on a date? "Zayn, I don't know..."
Zayn looked hurt and sad and replied "Yeah I get it if you don't want to. I understand why you might not want t-" I cut him off.
"No! I guess I'll come." I responded. Zayn's face immediately brightened up and he said "We'll leave in 20 minutes. Yeah?"
I nodded and you might be wondering why I said yes. I hate making other people sad and I hate when I see people hurt, so that's why.

I walked out of my room to see Zayn was ready to go as well. He was wearing a nice t-shirt and some jeans. It took my about 15 minutes to get ready since I had to do makeup.
We both said goodbye to Louis and Zayn held my hand as we walked out of the apartment. Instead of taking the elevator, we chose the stairs inside. As we exited the lobby, about 8 fans were standing outside with about 5 paparazzi snapping photos. The lights were blinding my eyes so I turned to face Zayn's chest.
Zayn led me to a car when fans were yelling rude things such as "Zayn why are you with that bitch?" and "Stay away from my fucking Zayn!"
As soon as we entered the car, I sat down and a man started driving us away. "Sorry about what those fans said." Zayn apologized.
I smiled and responded "It's fine. When I was with Harry, I learned to just ignore it." He nodded and began to look out the window again.
I tapped his shoulder and questioned "Where are we going Zayn?"
Zayn chuckled and replied "You'll see when we get there." I wish he would tell me.
After sitting in silence for about 7 minutes, the car stopped and Zayn stepped out of the car, helping me as well.
We walked to the entrance of a bowling alley, and I smiled brightly at his decision. I loved going bowling so I thought this would be fun.
"You like bowling?" I asked him with my smile glued to my face.
Zayn nodded yes and opened the door for us to walk in. Zayn led me to a man behind a counter and exclaimed "Can we have 2 games?"
"Sure thing." The man responded. He gave us directions on which alley we would be playing in and where we could find food, shoes, and a bowling ball.
"Zayn what size shoe do you wear?" I asked him politely.
"Oh, I am a size 11." He said. I remembered that and began to walk towards a lady next to shelves filled with many different shoes.
"Hi how may I help you?" She greeted me.
"Umm, I need a size 8 1/2 and a size 11." I requested. She quickly picked out the shoes and handed them to me. I thanked her and went back towards Zayn.
He slipped on his shoes and I did as well. I ended up picking out a baby blue ball and he picked a fiery red. We headed towards an alley and Zayn said he would start first.
He rolled the first time and got 6 pins. He then got 3 more pins and just missed a spare. I chuckled and told him "I'll show you how it's done."
I took my ball and rolled it down the aisle. I knocked down 8 pins and I smiled at Zayn. I grabbed the ball again and rolled it once more. I ended up getting a spare.
Zayn looked shocked and said I did good. We finished the first game and I beat Zayn 198- 167. The last game, Zayn beat me 203- 193.
We ordered some pizza and ate for awhile before Zayn asked "You ready to go love?"
"Yeah I think so." I replied warmly. I held his hand as we left the alley and entered the car again.
As we arrived at the apartment, Zayn said he was staying a while longer. I nodded and sat down on the couch to see Louis was sleeping.
During this date, I noticed I really liked Zayn. I thought he was great and loving. I really enjoyed his company and would love to do it again some time.
I sat next to Zayn on the couch and said "Zayn, I had a wonderful time today."
He looked at me with a cheek smiled and responded "I did too Alyssa."
Suddenly he pecked my lips quickly. His lips were so soft and fit on mine perfectly. "Thanks for taking me Zayn." He nodded and I pressed my lips to his once more before going into my room to get changed into some more comfortable pajamas.
