The Right Road to Love
Chapter 51
Alyssa's P.O.V.
After Jenna's little meltdown, Zayn walked back into our living room and plopped down on the couch between Niall and I.
"So what happened love?" He asked concerned. Great. I thought I would just talk to Louis but now I needed to talk in front of more people about my problem.
"Right after we got home...I called my parents and asked when they were coming over." I started off. I looked down and let a tear fall down my cheek.
Zayn's hand rubbed my back as he replied "Keep going."
Huh, hear goes nothing. "My dad told me that....my mom....died." I blurted out, breaking down into tears.
I leaned over as Zayn pulled me into his chest, rubbing my back and playing with my hair.
"It's okay. I'm sorry. It's okay. Sshh." He cooed as he held me protectively in his arms.
I had never been this close to Zayn before. His touch was warm and loving. I continued to cry into his chest, letting my tears fall everywhere now. There were a couple marks on Zayn's t-shirt from where my tears fell down.
I felt the couch shift as I looked up to see another face. Louis. I sat up straight as he tried to hug me, it was kind of hard to hug me because I was very stiff and not happy.
After a half hour of me crying and the boys talking to me about my mother, Jenna walked shyly into the room.
"Hi Jenna." The boys greeted her. She forced a fake smile and sat farther away from Zayn.
I could tell Zayn was hurt but he quickly shook the feeling off. I can't believe they ended their relationship. They were going pretty strong but I guess not anymore. I thought they were okay together but I don't think they agreed. Before when I was laying on Zayn, I thought he was pretty cool and loving. I didn't really mind his touch or his company next to me. Was this a bad or good thing? I don't know.
The boys hung out for awhile until I could tell Jenna was upset and wanted to be alone. "Maybe you guys should go now. The apartment owner might get upset if she knows guests are staying here later into the night."
They nodded, hugged both of us goodbye and walked out the door. I went into my room, not caring that I left Jenna out there by herself. What she needed was some time alone.
I was tired from all the chaos and just wanted to go to sleep. I quickly changed into a night gown and laid in my bed. I slowly drifted off to sleep, thinking of my mom as I did.
