The Right Road to Love

Chapter 14

Jenna P.O.V

* A few moments later *

"Greetings lovelies! Welcome to Rosanda Designs!" a tall looking man said before us. The man, who I'm guessing is Mr. Larrence, was very sophisticated as well. He looked to be around his thirty's and was carrying a binder.

"Hello!" I shyly replied smiling. He pulled out a chair and sat on it. I scooted closer to him and Alyssa did too.

"Which one of you Miss Sanders?" he asked looking around. I raised my hand like a little kid and he chuckled.

"And I'm guessing you are Miss Carder." he continued. Alyssa nodded.

"I'm Mr. Larrence, but you can call me Earl. I'll be teaching you for about three months." Earl said.

"I can't wait Mr.- I mean Earl." Alyssa replied. I giggled a bit.

"Let's first talk about the history of Rosanda Designs, shall we?" Earl asked. We both nodded. He even speaked the voice of a sophisticated person too.

"Now listen carefully. Rosanda, which is pronounced rose-and-a Designs was a company started by Rosie Welsh, a famous clothing designer back in the day. Rosie believed expressing yourself through clothing and styles was the best you could ever do while introducing yourself to someone. Rosie collaborated with a gentlemen named Garrick Aslo. It took six years to complete the building we're in right now. Rosie then married Garrick and became known as Rosie Aslo. Their company was a striving success, and still is now. In 1974, Rosie earned the title 'Style Princess' and earned an award for best clothing. Sadly, Rosie passed away in 1991 because of stage 4 cancer. This company is also a huge cancer supporter. If it wasn't for cancer, you would've been introduced to her." Earl said. Woah, so much to take in. Rosie sounded like an extremely cool person.

"Um Earl?" I asked.

"Yes Miss Sanders?" he replied facing me.

"Did Rosie inspire people?" I asked.

"Rosie absolutely did. She took tours around England and visited schools telling people her story. Rosie inspired many designers now." Earl answered. Oh.

"Miss Carder. Tell me, what was Rosies' first last name?" Earl asked now facing Alyssa.

"Um.. uh.. We-Welsh?" Alyssa stuttered.

"Correct ma'am." Earl smiled.

"Miss Sanders, how did Rosie pass away?" Earl then asked.

"Rosie died of stage four cancer." I replied.

"Nice. I'll give you a sheet of paper of what I just announced. Your job is to read it and remember details. I'll give you a pop-quiz on Monday, which is in two days." Earl said getting his binder and opening it to a folder. He pulled out two sheets and handed us it.

"Until later girls." Earl said and waved good-bye.

"Bye!" Alyssa said. I studied the sheet. This was WAY more than what he announced. This was going to be tough, but this job pays so well.

"We gotta study." I told Alyssa.

Notes

It's boring again lol :l So I'm going to skip these classes, but in other chapters, you can see them studying or focusing on this. Do you like their upcoming career?
