Broken
Chapter thirteen:
Her beautiful laughter fills the night. Louis is telling her all of his "famous" jokes, that my family and the others have heard already. Amanda throws her head back and tries to catch her breath.
"I actually have a story about Liam" louis smirks and glances over at me. "Ooooo please tell" she winks at me and gets confortable in her chair. "We'll after gym class once we took Liam's clothes and made him chase us for them into the gym, which was where the cheerleaders had practice everyday after school. And there Liam was, all alone in his Calvin Kleins- they were mortified" Louis tells her before I can object. This causes her to laugh hysterically. Niall hands me a beer and I gladly take it, sipping some of it before going back to watching amanda.
Her smile is absolutely gorgeous and she always tells me I'm the reason she smiles so much. Her brown eyes are stunning and match her wavy hair. I love her so much.
We have been arguing often. It upsets me how she won't see someone, knowning something is bothering her. The guy who did this to her has been missing for two months and it scares me a lot how he is still out there, able to take my love away from me.
"Liam" Zayn inturrupts me from my thoughts. "hm?" I hum lightly in response. "We are going to start the fire if you want to help- and by want to help I mean you are helping" he jokes before standing up. I kiss Amanda on the head as I walk past her to get the firewood. We place it in the pit and pour some gasoline on the old wood to get the fire starting more quickly.
"Liam, come sit next to me" Amanda smiles patting the spot next to her. I drape my arm around her shoulders and she squirms for a while before she decides her postition is confortable. "Are you having a good time?" I ask her in a low voice. "Mhm" she hums, lying her head on my chest. "Why do you work out so much" she suddenly asks.
"I though you liked my muscles?" I ask confused. "I do I really do- but your chest is like- rock hard" she smiles goofily. I grab her face and squish her cheeks. She giggles, making her face look more ridiculous. I laugh and hug her tightly. Never wanting to let go.
As it starts to get later the boys start to leave Amanda hugging them each as if she's known them forever. "See you guys tomorrow" I say hugging them. "I think Amanda and I are going to go to bed" I say once they left, Amanda yawning mutiple times. "Okay, goodnight" my mum says finsishin the dishes. "Thank you so much Mr. and Mrs.Payne" Amanda grins. We head up to my bedroom and I close the door behind us.
She starts changing into her pajamas as soon as the door shuts and lays under my covers. I strip down to my underwear and climb in next to her. "I haven't kissed you all day" she whispers. "We can change that" I wiggle my eyebrows. She straddles my waist and her lips capture mine. My hands travel up her shirt, running along her warm skin. "I love you" she murmurs against my lips. "I love you too" I repeat back to her, flipping us over.
Her nails lightly scratch my back, creating goosebumps along my skin. Before I can even go to take her shirt off she stops me and pushes me off of her. "What?" I pout. "you look so beautiful" she sighs staring at me, "But as much as I would like to, we are in your parents house" she smirks. "True..." But as soon as we get back to your place..." I warn. "Alright" her face lights up.
"Liam can I talk to you?" My mum knocks on the door before entering. "Yeah sure" I get out of my covers and walk outside. She brings me into her bedroom and closes the door. My dad is sitting on the bed looking at me. "What?" I ask. "You need to come home" she finally says. "What? No. I can't" I stutter. "You've been away for two months Liam, come home for at least a week" she pleads. "She can't do it without me" I say. "WE miss you Liam" my dad says. "Your friends, your family" he continues. "She will miss me too, you know?" I snap. "Now you don't really have a choice Liam! You are coming home for a while and that's the end! When Monday comes you will drive her home and come back- that's it!" My mum exclaims. I storm out and slam the door shut going back to find Amanda sound asleep.
"I love you" I kiss her lips gently before going to sleep myself.
