"This ones good, yeah Julia?" Mother asked, carefully setting her fork back on her plate.
We were currently testing cake flavors for the wedding. I wasn't exactly fond of this. Everything tasted fine, and I really didn't care which one we chose.
I just wanted to go home.
"..Yeah" I agreed.
"What do you think, Harry?" Melinda asked.
He only nodded, clearly in the same mood as I.
"Well if you two are just going to agree with everything we say then maybe we'll just choose the cake!" My mother snapped.
Please, go ahead.
Melinda sighed heavily and a young girl, in her early twenties maybe, walked through the door.
She was pretty, and smiled brightly. "Hey there! I'm Destiny and I'm you're wedding planner," she shook everyone's hand.
I didn't know her, but I liked her already.
"I'm Julia, this is my mother Emily and that's Harry and his mother Melinda," I introduced everyone sitting around the small round table filled with wedding cake samples.
"Nice to meet you. I take it it's you two who are getting married?" She asked, looking at Harry and I.
We both nodded, and she smiled again.
"Great! Well I have some details we should go over if you're ready?" She asked, Opening her large binder.

Beside our mothers demanding attitudes the wedding planning actually wasn't that bad.
I loved Destiny and was happy I was going to be spending a lot more time with her now.
At least I had someone with me through this that wasn't my control freak mother.
Then I thought of Lilly. We haven't talked since before I went to Hawaii.
Part of me felt guilty, but the other part hurt. It's not as if she made an effort to talk to me either.
I decided I would go see her tonight, no exceptions.
"Great meeting you all!" Destiny said as we finished choosing a wedding color, cake flavor, and made a dent in the guest list. "You too," I smiled.
I had noticed Harry had been quite quiet the whole time.
I lightly kicked him in the ankle, causing his head to snap up. "Yeah... Yeah you too" he said, distantly.
Well okay then.
"So, we'll see you on Tuesday to tie up some of these loose ends here?" She asked, hoisting her binder from the table. "Sounds great," my mother smiled.
"Alright then! See you," she excited the room, heels clicking against the floor as she did so.
Finally, I could go home.

When my parents headed to bed it was only 10 so I decided to go to Lilly's.
Her mom had this 'no people over after 10' rule but I figured I would go in through the window since her room is ground level.
When I got to her house I knocked on the window. I heard a screech and the curtains were whipped open.
"WHAT are you doing here??" She demanded.
"Geez, chill. And open the window," I yelled through the glass.
She rolled her eyes and slid it open, allowing me to crawl in. "You need to leave," she said.
"Why?" I asked.
She suddenly looked nervous, "you just do okay. You know my moms rule."
I could tell that wasn't the whole truth.
"If you think I'm going to believe that's the real reason you want me to leave then that's pathetic," I spat.
She took a step back.
"Come on Lilly. I haven't seen you in nearly two weeks. What's wrong?" I asked, calmly.
She was quiet for a moment before speaking, "You've changed, ok?"
I scoffed, "I've changed? REALLY?"
I could tell my reaction was what she feared it would be.
"Yes Julia you have okay! What's up with you sneaking out all the time, not listening to your mom, going out with some other guy when your ENGAGED!"
Woah, Why did she have to bring Niall into this?
"I happen to love that 'some other guy'" I informed her.
She shook her head.
"Whatever Julia. Come back when you're ready to realize how stupid you're being," she spat.
Now I was infuriated.
I hadn't changed, had I? Even if I did, I liked who I was so what does it matter? Maybe I'm tired of being perfect.
Maybe I'm finally realizing that Lilly and I don't really have as much in common as we thought.
As I spoke I was rattling with anger. "If I walk out that door-erm-window, I can assure you I'll never come back." I pointed to the window.
"Good. I don't want to be friends with a fake ass bitch anyway."
Woah. Lilly has never swore in her life. Like ever.
I rolled my eyes, "Go to hell"
I saw the hurt flood her face as I stepped out the window.
As soon as I was out of her sight I began crying, hard.
We never, ever fought like that. I had lost her.
Tears streamed down my face as I walked.
I found myself walking to Niall's house, I just needed to be in his arms.
I shakily knocked on his door, crying harder. Only seconds later he opened the door, took one glance at my face and looked alarmed.
He pulled me tightly into him. "Oh no baby what's wrong?" He asked, running his hands through my hair comfortingly as he hugged me even tighter.
I couldn't talk, so I just kept crying.
"You're gonna be okay, I'm here." He whispered into my ear. I felt better just being with him.
I felt vulnerable as he picked me up and took me upstairs with Him.
He sat on his bed and I stayed wrapped in his arms, sobbing into his shirt- which was quite wet at this point.
"Baby..." He whispered, rubbing my back.
I sniffled, finding my voice and looking up at him. "I... I need you"
He rested his forehead on mine, "Baby.. I'm not going anywhere," he assured me.
He lye down, keeping a firm hold on me.
I put my head in his chest and a leg on either side of him. We stayed like this for a few minuets before I sat up and connected our lips.
We kissed slowly and lazily yet passionately.
His hands traveled down my sides and rested on my bum.
I moaned softly and ran my hands through his hair.
"I love you Nialler,"
"I love you Juliaaaa"
And at that moment, that was all I needed to hear.
