Caitlin’s pov
I was just getting back inside the house from mailing my little brothers birthday gift. He is turning 12. I turned on the T.V. and started switching through the channels. It got to TLC and cake boss is on Harry came into the room after getting off the phone.
Who was it? I asked. Louis just wanting to know if we wanted to go shopping with him and Eleanor tomorrow. Do you want to? Sure. I said with a smile on my face. Harry came and sat down next to me on the couch. Harry you wouldn't mind going to Minnesota to visit my family for Christmas would you? I asked. Christmas was a big deal for my family its when the whole family got together it was like a family reunion. Of Course not we have to be the U.S. anyways. I gave Harry a confused look, Why? Harry’s small grin turned into a huge smile, because we are going to New York for New years to see the ball drop. I was speechless I jumped into Harry’s arms thank you thank you thank you. I could have kept saying it if it weren't for the fact that Harry had cut me off my kissing me.
*The next day*
Eleanor and I had gone into Victoria's secret while Harry and Louis were off in different stores. I told Eleanor that Harry was taking me to New York. We kept walking to different stores trying to find something or something’s for me to wear while in New York.
Harry’s pov
Louis and I were walking around looking for more stores to go in. Louis will you help me with something? I asked. Of course mate what is it? I on New Years I am talking Caitlin to New York and I am going to propose to her there. Louis face lit up like a light bulb. Will you come with to help pick out her ring? Louis had the biggest smile on his face. He grabbed my hand and dragged me to a ring store. The lady at the desk came over to us. Hi may I help you? She asked with a smile. Yes I am going to propose girlfriend and I need to find her a ring. I said it felt weird being in a ring store looking for an engagement ring. Right this way sir. The lady said she lead Louis and I to the counter and told us all about the rings. They were all really nice but none of them looked right. We told the lady we would come back when we had more time and when Caitlin was not with us.
We caught up with the girls at the food court. We all grabbed food from different places and sat down at a table. I probably looked like a huge dork my smile was so big. When we finished eating we headed back to the cars. We said good bye to Louis and Eleanor and got into our car. I am sure Louis has already began to tell Eleanor the good news. The drive home was quiet I wanted to say something but it was so silent not the bad kind but the one you just want to embrace.
Caitlin’s pov
When we got home I ran upstairs and got my Pj’s on When I
came back down I saw Harry in his boxers sitting on the couch. I walked over to him and he had his arms wide open. “Come cuddle”. He said with a small smile on his face. I crawled next to him and we ended up falling asleep.
