the week before
Caitlin’s pov
I was in the kitchen waiting for Harry to get back from the store. My phone rang. Hello? Hi Caitlin I was just making sure you were going to come to the family reunion next week. It was my dad it had been a while since I talked to him. Yes Harry and I will both be there. OK good see you there. We hung up and I set my phone on the counter. I was so nervous I have not talked to anyone from that side except my older cousin Brandon. I don't really get a long with them so this should be interesting. I heard the door open I walked into the hall that lead to the door. Hey bebe. Harry said with a smile. I slipped off his shoes and handed me a few of the grocery bags. We walked back in to the kitchen. Harry sat on the stool by the counter. Harry we don't have to go to this reunion. I said with a small frown. Harry got up and wrapped his arms around me. Caitlin of course I do. Don't you? Harry asked and he pulled away. I shook my head no and looked down at the ground. Why? Harry asked. I took Harry’s hand and lead him to the couch in the living room. “ When I was 14 I decide that I didn't want to go to my dads anymore because of how he was treating everyone. My dad told everyone and they all started going crazy. When I was texting my cousins My aunts/there moms texting me pretending that there were my cousins and they would make up lies about what I have said and did they were manipulating me. When I was at a friends house my grandma called telling me that I had made my dad mad and made him cry. trying to make me feel bad and want to come back. That's when I lost it I broke down crying in my friends arms. I later in the summer then decided to go back to my dads because I wanted to do stuff with my step moms family. my family hates my step mom and she hates them so there will be a lot of tension”. Harry hugged me “ Everything will be ok”. We pulled apart and stood up. “ I have an idea stay here I am going to make a quick phone call”. Harry said and he ran up stairs. I sat back down on the couch I haven't really talked about it in a while.
A few minutes later Harry came running down the stairs. OK hurry and pack your stuff we are staying at my moms house for a few days. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up the stairs to get packed. After we were all ready to go Harry put our suitcases in the trunk of his range rover. I was getting on my shoes. I ran out the door and locked it. Harry was waiting for me in his car. I got in and we drove off.
I looked out the window watching everything that went by. Harry took my hand.” Caitlin I want to meet your family but if it is to much for you we don't have to”. Harry said with a concerned look. “No its fine just be on the look out”. I squeezed his hand and he looked at me. “Everything will be fine”. He smirked.
We pulled into Anne’s driveway. Harry grabbed out suitcases and we walked up to the door. I rang the door bell since Harry’s hands were full. Robin answered the door and gave us both a hug. Harry introduced me to Robin and we went inside. Harry put down the suitcases by the door and walked into his mothers kitchen. “Hi mum”. Harry said and pulled his mom in for a hug. She looked at me and this must be Caitlin! She came over and hugged me. I nodded my head. I hadn't realized how nervous I was until I walked inside the house. Harry put his arm around my waist. ”Come sit down”. Anne said with a huge smile on her face. We started talking about me and Harry and I. We heard a ding. “ That's the timer supper is done. We all got up and walked over to the table. Anne set the food in front of us and we all dug in.
After supper Harry showed me to his room and we set our bags down by the closet. We should go to sleep. My mum always has crazy plans when I come to visit. I got changed into my pjs and crawled under the covers. Harry climbed in with me and we snuggled together. ”Goodnight love”. Harry said and kissed the top of my head. “ Night” I said and snuggled into his farther as if it was possible and we fell asleep.
