Truly, Madly, Deeply

Kayla's POV
I open my eyes and see he light shining through the curtain. I walk downstairs and see Lexi preparing breakfast. The clock says its only 8:00 am. Wow. I'm up early.
"Well , someone is up early." Lexi says.
"Yea, I think it's because I went to sleep so early."
"Maybe you should go to sleep early every day." She laughs. I also laugh at her remark.
"So, where is he taking you?" She asks.
"Not sure yet. I'm going to text him later and ask." I reply.
"How much later is later?" She questions me with the weird thing she can do when one eyebrow is up and the other is down. I always wanted to do that.
"After breakfast and a shower" I tell her. She nods in response.
"Now, shut up so I can make breakfast!!" She says. I can't help but chuckle when she says that.
"I'm going to shower now," I declare.
"Good, you stink" She says. I giggle to myself.
Upstairs I pick out a red t-shirt with a bulldog on it, and a pair of jeans. Grabbing my towel, I head to the bathroom. After my shower I put some make up on, and in addition to my usual I add some light red eyeshadow. As I walk downstairs, Lexi walks up to get ready to go shopping. I eat my breakfast, and then go back upstairs. From my shoe collection I put on red healed boots. I look in the mirror and try to decide what to do to my hair. After thinking it over I decide to put it a braid down my back. I grabbed my phone and purse, and head downstairs. Lexi isn't done yet so I text Louis.

"Texting Louis?" Lexi asks, making me jump.
"Oh my gosh Lex! You nearly gave me a heart attack! I didn't know you we're down here yet!" I exclaim.
"Ready?" She asks.
"I love how this shopping trip was an unsaid trip. We just knew." I said, laughing. She just shrugs.
******skip car ride******
"So, something formal he said?" Lexi asks as we enter a shop.
"Yup" I reply as she drags me to the dress section. We looked through probably the entire store's inventory of dresses, Lexi insisting I try them on. I'm just about to give up hope when a red dress catches my eye. I pull it out and it's a mid length dress, deep red, and has light red sparkles at the top.
"What do you think Lex?" I ask holding it up.
"It's beautiful!" She gasps looking at it. I try it on, and it looks great.
"Ooh Kay, you look great!" She says,"Also as you were getting changed I found the perfect shoes." They were dark red stilettos. I quickly got changed out of the dress, and back into my clothes. I payed for the dress and shoes, and we went back home to get me ready.
Back at our home, I slipped into my dress, and washed my face. Lexi, after pestering me, did my make up. She put on me dark red eyeshadow, red eyeliner, sparkly mascara, anddark red lipstick. She put my hair up in an eloquent bun, and polished my nails dark red.
"You look great Kay." She told me.
"Thanks Lex,"
I heard a knock at the door and I slipped on the red heels, and walked up to the door. Taking a deep breath I opened the door.
