It's You They Add Up To
Chapter One
Luna woke up to her alarm and dragged herself out of bed. She walked downstairs to see her brother, Niall was already downstairs. She smiled at him before grabbing a cup of tea and heading back upstairs. She sat her tea down and went to her closet, grabbing a black beatles shirt and her red skinny jeans. Luna then got dressed pulling on her black Converse low-tops and fixing her blonde hair. She came back downstairs to see her brother ready. She grabbed her phone off of the counter before grabbing her bag.
“Ready to go Luna?” Niall said, grabbing his bag as well as she nodded.
Luna and Niall got into his car before they made there way to school. When they got there they walked in the same direction to the same group. Other people would think it was weird that siblings in the same friend circle was a bit odd but Luna was the little sister of all the boys in the group. The group consisted of five boys, Niall, Liam, Zayn Louis, and Harry. Liam was the responsible one, Harry was the flirt, Zayn was the conceited one, her brother was the hyper bottomless pit, and Louis was the crazy, hyper, fun one. Luna had a crush on Louis since as long as she could remember. Louis was the epitome of amazing. He was hilarious, adorable, fun, and just had an out-shining personality that Luna couldn’t resist.
“Earth to Luna.” Harry said, snapping Luna out of her thinking state.
“Huh?” She said trying to think what he had said while she was dreaming of one of her brothers best friends.
“I said, are coming to my party tonight unlike your brother who is acting like Liam.” He said getting a slight glare from Niall.
“Hey, what’s wrong with being me?” Liam said making Luna laugh.
“Nothing, it’s just funny to think Niall is acting like you and yes Harry I’ll go.” She said to both boys before looking at Louis. “Are you going?” She said hopeful.
“Can’t, I’m hanging out with Eleanor. We got together yesterday.” He said smiling a bit.
She nodded and excused herself from the group. She felt like she was going cry. Luna felt a hand touch her shoulder and she turned around to reveal Harry. She buried her head into his chest as he rapped his arms around her waist.
“I know you liked him but he see’s you as a sister. You need to forget him.” Harry said resting his chin on the top of her head.
Luna sighed not thinking of how he knew. “I know. I bet all of you think that.”
Harry made her look at him and sighed. “I don’t.” He said smiling a bit making Luna smile slightly.
“You mean that?” She said not feeling as upset as she was.
“Of course I do. Now will you still come to my party?”
Luna smiled and nodded. “Of course I will after you kept me from ruining my makeup.” She said letting go of Harry.
Harry smiled at her. “Good, see you at seven.” He said walking off.
Luna saw Louis walk towards her and stopped in front of her. “Are you okay, Luna?” He said with his brotherly concern he always had.
Luna nodded, remembering what Harry had said but it slowly slipping away as he smiled back.
“Well, that’s good. I’m sorry if you wanted me to go to Harry’s tonight. It’s just I already made plans with Eleanor.” He said and all Luna could do was nod and dismiss herself to her first hour.
-End of school-
Luna walked to Niall’s car straight after school to see all the boys except Niall.
“Hey, Luna.” They all said at different intervals.
Luna laughed a bit and looked at Zayn. “Where’s my brother, Malik?”
Zayn shrugged a bit. “I have no idea, Luna. I’ve tried to reach him and it hasn’t worked.”
Luna saw Niall approach them as soon as Harry positioned himself by Luna. “Sorry, I was finishing a paper that has nothing to do with my life and never will.” He said leaning against Zayn. Zayn was Niall’s boyfriend. Enough said.
Luna laughed a bit before looking at her phone. “Well, it’s 3:30 and Harry’s party is at 7. Can we go?” She asked, putting her phone back in her pocket.
Niall chuckled and nodded. “Yeah, but you have to ride in the back.” He said telling everyone but Zayn bye as Zayn, Luna and himself got in his car.
Luna decided to text Harry as they were heading home.
Luna: Hey Haz
Harry: Hey Luna
Luna: Did I ever mention that Zayn and Ni were so cute it made me want to throw up?
Harry:Constantly
Luna: Well Im at my house. See you at the party.
Harry: Alright :)
Luna walked into her room as soon as Niall unlocked the house. She looked through her closet to find something to wear. She saw a dark purple strapless cocktail dress and pulled it out of her closet throwing it on he bed. She saw it as too dressy. She then saw her black skinny jeans and a aqua blue strapless tunic. She then pulled out a pair of aqua peep-toe wedges and started to get dressed. When she was finished she put on aqua eye-shadow and a clear gloss. Luna then put an aqua feather in her hair and walked downstairs at six o’clock. She saw Niall and Zayn look at her skeptically.
“Come on! It’s not that bad.” She said looking in the mirror one more time.
Zayn stood up from his position on the couch and grabbed Niall’s car key’s before looking at the clock. “Come on, I’ll take you.” he said kissing Niall before walking out of the door. Luna walked to her brother and gave him a hug before following Zayn.
They drove in silence as they made there way to Harry’s. When Zayn got there, Luna jumped out quickly to avoid awkward conversation. She walked into Harry’s house to see quite a few people were already there. Luna saw Harry and made her way over.
“Hey, Haz.” She said stepping in front on some girl also making her way to Harry.
“Hey, Luna. You look amazing.” He said flashing that flirty smile of his.
Luna knew Harry was flirting but let it slip. She thought it was a gesture to make her feel better about earlier. Boy was she wrong.
“Ready to go Luna?” Niall said, grabbing his bag as well as she nodded.
