When I Wake Up Next To You
I Got You An Audition
I was sitting on the couch, going over audition materials when Jenny arrived home from work.
"Yo." I mumbled from my seat, not looking up, trying to focus on the words before me.
"Hey, how'd your audition go?" Jenny asked as she set her stuff down and began to mess around in the kitchen. Making dinner most likely.
"Eh... I doubt I'll get a callback." I sighed tossing the papers onto the coffee table, "Whatever."
"Well," Jenny said turning around to look at me, "There was this guy at work today, said he was looking for a girl to star in some bands new music video or something. When I told him about you, he seemed pretty interested. Said you sounded perfect."
I rolled my eyes, "Jenny, this sounds sketchy as hell. I'm not gonna be some video hoe."
"You won't be! He said it has a plot and everything, it seemed really neat," she paused, "So I scheduled you for an audition next Wednesday."
"What! Jenny, you can't just schedule me for some sketchy music vid-"
Jenny cut me off, "It's not sketchy and you are going next Wednesday one pm, if I have to drag you myself, go it?"
I sighed, burying my face into a pillow. No sense in arguing with her.
"Got it." I mumbled.
"Good, now come help me with dinner."

One week later, Jenny and I were downtown, standing infront of a tall building waiting to go in.
"Okay, so this doesn't look THAT sketchy." I muttered looking up, "Still.."
"Oh shut up and come on," she replied grabbing my arm and dragging me in.
Inside a brunette woman greeted us and Jenny gave her my information and we were directed to Floor 24. Once we exited the elevator we were greeted by a man who smiled at us brightly.
"Ms. Alice Juliet, correct?" he asked, shaking my hand. I nodded.
"Yup, that's...that's me."
"Excellent!" He handed over a script and let me sit down on a couch so we could discuss it, "Now, you'll only have a few lines, but here's the basic gist of the plot. You play a renowned thief who is after jewels, that combined, form a heart. You are stealing said jewels from the different members in the band who end up falling for your charms. Really simple right?"
"Yup, looks easy enough." I said flipping through the pages, "Um, what band is this for anyway?"
He smiled at me, "They're waiting for you now, you'll be auditioning for them."
I waved to Jenny and she gave me a thumbs up before I whisked away to the next room.
I was not prepared for who waited inside.

P.S. I don't want to sound like one of those people but if you would read my story I would appreciate it, if you don't want to that's cool, honestly :) But I really just want to tell you that I loved this story and thought it was amazing!! :)
