Layla's POV:

So I drove to the nearest 24 hour cafe to talk to them. I looked into a mirror I had in my purse. My makeup wasnt that disturbed. So we went inside and got a seat. And I started explaining. Since Zayn knew nothing I started explaining to him.

"So, I have this cousin named Donny. Me and him were very close. He taught me a lot about cars and taught me how to drive. My parents never like me hanging out with him bacause they thought I would turn out like him. So basically me, him and a whole bunch of people go to this underground abandoned parking lot and line up cars place bets and so on. So my parents made me get into the medical field. And I basically go there and streetrace with Donny and James. The day I went with Harry, my douche ex boyfriend JT was there too. Donny made a bet with JT and it was for a date with me. I went and lined up. When I did my phone rang which I answered and it was my friend Jenny. She said 'there was a job opening for a movie for main character'. Thats why I said have a good life because I took the job and leave for Toronto in a week. I wasn't planning on seeing you guys and I was planning on staying there for a while. The plan for the races was for Donny to take the front while I stay in the back with JT's friend. But Donny lost. So I had to go on a date with JT. When I came back, Curly got into a fight with James. He said 'Harry was just using me'. I dropped Harry home to see the guys and I grabbed food as my excuse to calm down.thats why I slept on the couch. The next day I settled things with Harry and went to the movies. When we were in line JT said 'looking forward to our date tonight' and thats when everyone found out. Violet freaked out and said some things.. we watched the movie and I didnt take it well halfway through so I went to the washroom and JT was there. There was nobody around and he slapped me and punched me. Thats how I got this"

I finally said, exhaling the deep breath I had held while wiping off the makeup that covered my eye. Ed looked pissed.

"Then I covered it up and went out on the date. He tried to kiss me but Harry came and punched him, possibly broke his nose and dragged me out of there. He asked me to be his girlfriend I said 'yes' and decided to bunk at the boys house cause Vio was pretty pissed. Then we went there. Curly found out about the eye, flipped out, and left. And then I came home" I explained, one again puffing out a breath I held.

I watch Zayn who was still taking this all in. Ed looked pissed, like he was about to explode any minute

"WHERE DOES JT LIVE?" Ed asked, yelling.

"Ed your overreacting." I told him, slightly panicked

"Tell me where he lives Layla, I want to talk to him" Ed said through gritted teeth.

"No Ed it's fine" I said.

"Fine, where does James live because Harry would never do that" Ed said, without calming down.

"Leave it alone Ed" I said, crossing my arms and leaning back onto the chair I was sitting in.

"Fine where does Donny live? He's the one who got you into this" Ed said pacing. He wasn't easily going to drop this.

"Ed you promised you wouldn't get mad" I said.

"You know what Layla, you're so forgiving. You don't deserve any of this and your too kind! You wont stand up, someone has to" Ed said with a slight scoff.

"No. You know what Ed; it's my fault for racing. You know I can't get out of this lifestyle; its my choice its fine" I said hoping he will sit down.

"Don’t you dare blame yourself for this Layla. That arse deserves to pay" Harry said, sternly.

"Its fine I’ll just stay away from them." I said, without looking at him

They were double teaming up on me there was no way I was winning.

"Sorry about not telling you about Toronto, I just couldn't think how I could" I said.

"Layla I don’t want you going to these races anymore" Ed said, and I froze.

"What?!" I rhetorically asked.

"Layla you always end up getting hurt it’s so dangerous; the people there are so dangerous." Ed said without a care. Who is he to decide what I do and don’t do?

"But it's my choice I can’t just stop going! This is me; my lifestyles!" I said trying to sound more confident

"Layla you’re gonna get hurt or crash or something and it’s not just going to hurt you, it’s going to hurt all of us too" Zayn said, sympathetically. Sympathizing is definitely not what I need at the moment.

"Y-you're agreeing with him too?" I asked Zayn, hurt.

"Layla you might get hurt" Zayn said again.

At this time I was in rage.

"YOU ALL WON’T CARE IF I DIED! I HURT EVERYONE AND IT’S BETTER THAT WAY" I screamed standing up.

"Layla" Harry snapped. Like his warnings will affect me.

"We all care about you I'm your boyfriend for god sakes" Harry said, trying to control his anger

"You guys are trying to change me; I can’t change this is me" I explained yet again

"Your brother is right you'll eventually get hurt and it'll hurt us all" Harry said.

“This is my fucking life! I can do anything I want. Legally” I stated

They were shocked with wide eyes.

"How about you Louis, you agreeing with Zayn, Harry and my brother?" I asked Lou.

"No" He coolly said. Ed and Harry were surprised.

"Your right it’s your life you chose this just stay safe love" Lou said. I smiled, at least somebody knew what’s right or wrong.

Harry glared at Louis.

"Excuse me have you seen her drive it’s amazing I know she was meant to do this" Louis said.

I smiled and walked towards the car. "You boys coming?" I asked them, mentally forgiving them as well.
