Ed's Little Sister
Chapter 17
Harry's POV:
I got in my Audi with the boys and we drove to the girls’ apartment. When we pulled up there was an extra car there. We got out and Louis rang the doorbell.
Victoria answered it.
"Is Layla there?" I asked politely
She only glared at me.
"Up in her room, locked the door, won’t stop crying and wont let anyone in" Violet said from behind Victoria with a cold stare.
Victoria welcomed us in silently. We went to the living room to find Ed.
"Nothing worked, not even Ed. He can usually calm her down when she was a child" Violet explained.
Ed put his head in his hands and said from behind them, "What happened?"
The boys all looked at each other.
"What the hell happened" Ed said shakily and lifted his head
"Ed you’re going to have to ask her" Zayn said.
He took a deep breath in
"I’m going to go try to talk to her." I said clearly
"Haven’t you done enough" Ed snapped then said “Sorry Harry I know you're a good guy but it’s my sister we're talking about"
I looked down in embarrassment
"I'll go talk to her" Louis said running up the stairs.
Louis POV:
"What’s her phone number" I asked Violet. When she gave it to me and I added it to my contacts and called her.
"Hello" Layla answered after the third bell
"Its Lou I’m by your door let me in" I said.
"No Lou just leave me alone" she said unemotionally
"Pleaaaaase its only mee" I said, in my very convincing voice
She opened the door. It worked!
"Yay" I said and I got in and locked the door behind me.
"Wanna talk" I asked her.
"No" was her answer
"C’mon pleeeeeasee" I asked her.
"Noooooooo" she said laughing.
"Where’s that smile? Wheeeree’s that smile" I laughed as I said it
She laughed.
"Wanna go out for a drive?" She asked me smirking
"Do they have one of that meet up thingy’s you were talking about?”
"Naw not tonight but driving usually calms me" she said.
"Well let’s go" I said.
Layla's POV:
I went to the washroom to put on some makeup since Ed and the girls didn’t see my eye. When I got ready, Lou is was waiting and looking at a pic of me and Donny while he was 25 and I was about 10. I smiled.
"That’s Donny my cousin" I told him and he smiled
"He seemed like a good guy" Lou sighed.
I glared at Lou.
"He’s not dead Lou" I said laughing.
"Oh" he said and chuckled.
We walked down the stairs laughing.
"We’re going on a midnight cruise anyone coming?" Lou asked.
Harry Zayn and Ed decided to come. Violet and Victoria were in pyjama already so Liam and Niall decided to stay with them. I pulled them aside and asked them to not mention the black eye thing to the girls. They agreed.
"It’s your place to tell them when you ready" Liam said.
"Thank you so much" I hugged them both.
"Can I just ask you one question?" Liam asked.
"Anything" I smiled.
"What did you mean by have a good life? What were you planning on doing?"
I took a deep breath.
“I need to tell you all at the same time how about over lunch tomorrow?"
He smiled and said, "You got it"
I went back to the living room to talk to the girls.
"See you in the morning" I told them.
"Naw the boys are sleeping over again. We’re gonna have a real sleepover"
"Oh okay" I smiled.
"We’re going to talk about this later" Victoria said, arms crossed.
"There’s nothing to talk about. What’s in the past is gone" I said quoting her from when we were younger.
"You just had to remember that” she muttered.
"Yes now I’ll be back" I said while I hugged her.

When we got in the car there was an awkward silence. I couldn’t take it anymore.
"This is supposed to be a relaxing fucking drive, now will someone talk?!" I snapped while looking into the rear mirror.
"Language" Ed warned.
Zayn and Louis then started talking. Ed and Harry were just silent.
I pulled up to the side.
"Why are we pulling up love" Louis asked.
"Ed, why aren't you talking to Harry?" I asked ignoring Louis
"I’m not going to talk to him" Ed spat
“Ed" I warned sternly
"What my little sister locks herself in her room crying and then I find out my best mate is dating her. And then to top it all off he shows up at her house" Ed said.
I could see Harry getting madder by the second.
"Ed!" I snapped. "It’s not his fault" I said with a glare.
“Then what happened" Ed asked coldly
"Nothing" I said barely a whisper.
"No Layla you should tell him... Fuck it, tell all of us we all want to know what happened" Harry said as angry as Ed.
I felt a tear flowing down my cheek. My makeup would run. Crap. I might as well tell them all.
"Okay I'll say everything from the start”
"Some of it none of you know I was planning on announcing it tomorrow at lunch in front of all of you but now seems like a better time. Wait Ed how did you know me and Harry were dating I only told Lou" I said.
"Paps" Ed answered.
"Shit. Everyone would know before tomorrow” Zayn’s eyes widened as he said it
"Okay I’ll say everything from the beginning but promise you won’t get angry" I said calmly, facing forward so Ed couldn’t see the eye yet.
"It’s a bit too late Layla" Ed said.
"Fine but no anger attacks in my car" Louis eyed me meaning this is no time to joke.
"You break it you pay for it and I'm dead serious it’s my baby" I said patting the steering.
Ed, Louis and Harry laughed knowing how attached I was to my car
