Layla's POV:

I was with Harry by my car, talking and getting to know him better. We talked for what seemed to be a long time, but we knew so much about each other and turned out to be 3 hours.

It was now about 11 pm and Donny came up to me and said, "Aye group race short one person you in?”

I gave a questioning look to Harry before saying, "What about James?"

I said and just then I saw James approaching us.

"Aye I promised my mum to stay off the radar" James said smirking

"Who’s in it?" I asked Donny.

"Jt" he answered. I took a deep sigh. His name gave me shivers; Jt was my ex.

"Who else?" I asked.

"Y'know, his partner in bullshit" Donny replied with a smirk as I laughed.

"Any bets?" I asked.

Donny froze uncomfortably, "umm yea"

"How much?" I asked, ignoring his weird gesture

"Umm let’s just put it this way we have to win" he said with a serious look

This made me even more curious. I started saying, “I don’t race if I don’t know what it’s for"
I said with a smirk.

Harry was just watching this like a soap opera. I guess this was all a bit overwhelming.

"Umm, you" Donny said as he looked down

"Excuse me??" I said at the same time as Harry, sounding sassier than I intended.

"The bet was if he wins you have a date with him for one night but if I win I get his bird." I cracked up then

"What? So we have to win this just because you want some stupid slut? And if we lose I have to go on a date with that arse." I said pissed with this whole thing

"Yea, you in or not?" Donny asked me, ignoring my pissed-off-ness

"yea but can I borrow your car, James?" I asked

I’m not gonna risk damaging my baby. He tossed me the keys to his car. I glanced up at Harry who looked at me worriedly.

"You’re really gonna do this?" He asked me

"Yea, I’m gonna win back my arse what other choice do I have" I said Iooking at Jt, who saw me and waved with a smirk, which of course made me madder.

I have to win this.

I turned to Harry before speaking, "Stay with James I don’t trust Jt's friends" I told him.

He pulled me in for a hug and said, "Stay safe love"

And, he called me love which caused me to melt on the inside. God the thing this boy is doing to me. He inched forward towards my face and I brought mine closer also. I felt my lips graze his. You know how they say when you kiss ‘the one’, you feel fireworks... well I did. We deepened the kiss by our tongues working perfectly I'm motion. I was drawn back to life by James starting his car and revving up the engine making it roar loudly.
