My New Roommate
*Cat’s POV*
“My, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a man with such anger in his eyes.” Colton said beside me as we stared into the window in the gym.
We both pretty much witness what happened after heading back to the theatre. Colton wanted to study Louis some, I wanted to come back to him, so it was a pretty good compromise. “Does he do this often?”
“Vent anger by exercising? Yeah, he’s done it quite a few times.” I answered.
Colton crossed his arms across his chest, holding a hand up to his chin. He continued to watch Louis through the window. “I have to meet him…” Colton murmured.
I blinked. “What? I thought I was to be the one to-“
Colton waved a hand at me, cutting me off. “No, no, it’s nothing personal. He just intrigues me. How long does he usually stay here?”
I looked at my watch. “He usually tires out within an hour and a half… so here in about ten minutes he'll be done.”
“From there?”
“He heads home.”
Colton made an expression before nodded. “Alright. Well, you stay here with him since it’s your duty too. I’ll see you around.”
He backed away from the window, saluting me before walking down the hallway and disappearing at some doors. I glared at the door, wondering what this boy was planning. I looked back at the window, seeing Louis stand up and wipe himself with a towel. I have to admit, he has gotten a little more muscular compared to a year ago.
I let out a breath before pulling away from the window, seeing how he was throwing on his shirt and jacket, getting ready to leave.
I did what I usually did. I followed him home. I watched as he unlocked his flat’s front door, walking in. I shook my head as I started up the steps to my own flat, walking into the door. I opened the door, shutting it behind me. My eyes landed on the living room floor, seeing travelling bags everywhere. My face scrunched up in confusion as I stepped into the room, looking around.
“Ah! You’re back.”
I blinked, seeing Colton coming out of the bathroom with nothing but a towel on. “Um…” I started.
“Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention? I’ll be living with you during my stay.” Colton smiled as he walked over to a bag, unzipping it. “I couldn’t help but notice how empty your house is too, so I had Agent Lee call some people to get the apartment set up for us. He agreed, needless to say. Some people should be here in the morning.”
I felt my mouth open, not sure what the hell was going on. I closed my mouth, holding up a finger. “You know what? I’m not even going to ask. Make yourself at home.”
I started toward the hallway before I heard him speak again. “Oh, by the way, I plan on introducing myself to the boy.”
I stopped and spun on my feet. “Huh?”
Colton nodded with a grin. “If somebody didn’t know better, they’d of thought this place was empty. Tomorrow I’m going to introduce myself as his new neighbor. It shouldn’t be too bad.”
I sighed. I knew I couldn’t stop him. Colton had his own way of doing things, this much I knew. “Fine.” I said, holding up my hands in surrender. “Do whatever you want.”
God. What was I going to do?
