Chapter 22
*Louis' POV*
It's getting late, Chanel has yet to be here, and she texted me 30 minutes ago saying she was on her way. I grabbed my jacket and headed out to my car. I was driving down the road when I saw three people near the bushes. Two girls pulling a thrashing girl.
From the street light I can see that one had red hair, long and bright. When she looked up, she had bright red eyes, you couldn't mis-place the fact that she's a vampire. The other girl had brown hair, also with vampiric eyes. The one thrashing and trying to escape, had ebony black hair and frightened Jade green eyes.
"Chanel!!!" I slammed on my brakes and jumped out the car. As soon as I got out the car, I recognised the red headed girl. "Alice! Let her go! Leave her the fuck alone!!!!" I pleaded. I didn't want to unleash my powers in front of Chanel, I'm afraid of scaring her. I knew the brunette was Macey, cause what other two people besides Jenny and Macey hang out with Alice? And jenny's blonde.
My pleas weren't seeming to work. So I had to do what I had to do, I let my powers overtake me as I ran after Alice, picking up speed and then grabbing her, slamming her into a nearby tree. She hissed at me and grabbed my wrist, in an attempt to make me fall to my knees and cry for mercy. I just rolled my eyes and slammed her against the tree again, she grunted, hit her head HARD, then blacked out.
*Chanel's POV*
I couldn't see straight, all I know is that my body is getting tired of flailing around trying to fight back. I had no idea Alice and Macey were vampires as well. I heard Louis' voice, it sounded like he was pleading. Next thing I knew, Alice was snatched away from ontop of me, right when she was about to bite me. In another heartbeat, Macey was snatched off of me too. I just laid there, out of breath and sore all over my body. I would've blacked out if someone hadn't started talking to me....
"Nelly? Nelly stay with me, everything is gonna be alright. I know you're hurt... I know you must be terrified, but I'm here for you baby,I'm here. Everything's okay now. You're alright. I got you...." I felt myself being lifted, then put down, I tried my best not to wince. You could hear it in his voice, he was scared, he was emotionally hurt. "we're going to my place okay? And I'm going to take care of you, because I'm dead if your brother sees you like this...don't go to sleep Nelz, DON'T go to sleep. Please stay with me...."
I felt my eyes drooping, and louis' frantic voice trying to keep me from dozing off. "bae, bae?! Baby stay awake! What's my name?" "umm......louis......William......ummm...t....tom.....Tomlinson." it was very irritating that he wouldn't let me sleep. And even more irritating that I couldn't get my words straight, did you see how long it took me to say his name? HIS NAME?!?!?! wow...obviously I shouldn't go to sleep. But I really want to. My body is so sore and so tired. Louis kept asking me trivial questions that usually insult my intelligence, but in this case, just kept me from falling asleep.
"owie!" I said three hours later. We were lying in the couch, and louis had did what he could to patch up the outer side of my body. But my inner side of my body is just soooooo sore...."I'm sorry baby, here, I'll go run you some hot water and you can have a hot bath before you can go to sleep." "finally!" I muttered. While I waited for him to come back I tried to remember what happened:

After me and Abbie went our separate ways, I tried to pick up the pace, knowing that there are demonic eyes, and vampiric beings lurking around at this time of the night....I was just a few more blocks from louis' house, when I heard a familiar voice that sent chills of disgust up my spine.
"Hey Chanel, what are you doing out this late?" Alice said and she giggled. "I should ask you the same thing..."I said as I kept walking, she caught up in less than a second...which got me thinking...."it's my time of day...." she said slyly, it made my skin crawl. I looked her in her eyes, her cold, heartless, soulless, blue eyes. Which to my surprise aren't blue anymore, they are a deep crimson red. I couldn't help the sudden gasp of fear that came out, it caused her to smirk, I decided to slowly back away.
"Chanel? Where are you going? Macey wants to play too..." she sing-songed. Macey's one two?! I started to shake and tried to run but they both came at me faster than the speed of light! I started screaming and thrashing as they dragged me over to a close bush. I didn't expect them to be so much stronger than they are during the day but DAMN! was I wrong! This went on for about 15 minutes before louis came into the picture.

"Chanel? You ready?" louis asked me. I snapped out of my daze. "huh? Oh, yeah...." he made a face as he picked me up. "maybe we should wait an hour before we go to bed..." I sighed really loudly, "FUUUUUUUUUCCKKK!"
