Remember How We Danced
"Where has Harry gone off to?" I asked one of the assistants while Lou worked on my makeup. Lou laughed and shook her head.
"I'll find him for you Mrs. Styles!" The assistant hurried off.
"He's always off and into something." Lou applied eye shadow to my lids as we talked. It was finally the big night of Louis' and Harry's event. Not only would Harry and I be performing one of the songs from our new album, but One Direction would be playing an old hit. Then, many of the talent that had already signed to Harry and Louis' record label would perform as well. There were tons of people here and the show was set to start in just under an hour.
Harry was off somewhere probably making sure every last detail was perfect. Louise, Kirsten, Raya and Devon had arrived moments earlier and had found their seats on the front row with Niall, Zayn, Liam and their families. It was nice to see everyone again and the vacation that we'd planned was sounding nice after all the stress Harry had been under. The whole gang was heading off to a resort in the Caribbean. We'd leave tomorrow and the excitement for everyone to be together for a week was unbearable.
Raya had been living with us for almost one month. She was doing great and our family felt whole. Louise loved living in our guest suite and we loved having her there.
"Baby!" Harry came waltzing in the dressing room with his hands behind his back. He had a cheeky grin on his face.
"There you are!" I grinned as he kissed me. Lou swatted at him.
"You're going to ruin my work!" She giggled and he rolled his eyes at her.
"Just wanted to give you a little something." He pulled a bouquet of roses from behind his back, along with a bottle of champagne. "I figured we could spend a little quality time together tonight." I opened the card that came with the roses to find that Harry had reserved a penthouse suite right in the heart of London for tonight.
"Harry, this is wonderful!" I squealed. "Thank you baby!" I hopped out of the chair and into his arms, kissing him. Lou huffed and threw her hands up in defeat.

"You four know what you're saying, correct?" The director of the event whispered as Harry, Louis, Eleanor and I prepared to make our way onto the stage. We all nodded. Harry took my hand and we led the way out onto stage with Louis and El following.
The audience applauded and Harry spoke first. "We'd like to thank all of you for coming out tonight. We're unbelievably excited to announce our new record company!"
"Tonight you will see some of the talent that has already joined us. We're ready to launch this company and take it as far as we can possibly go." Louis picked up where Harry left off.
"Our families are excited for you to see what these boys have been working so hard for." I smiled.
"We are so proud of them, and just again want to say a massive thanks to all of you for your continued support." Eleanor waved as the four of us made our way off stage and the audience went wild with applause.
The first three artists sang and a few words of how the company began were made by Ron - my old manager and the company's new head. While backstage, I changed dresses and prepped to go onstage with Harry.
"Wow, you are breathtaking." Harry came up behind me and kissed my neck. I hummed in satisfaction and turned to face him.
"You ready?" A nervous smile played out on my face. I hadn't performed live in years and the butterflies in my stomach were almost unbearable.
"With you by my side, I'm ready to take on anything." Harry's rough voice filled my senses and as he took my hand in his, every last butterfly in my stomach subsided. I took a deep breath and we made our way out to the stage.
Harry took his place on one side of the stage with his guitar. I took my place on the opposite side. We would each have the spotlight as we sang our separate verses and as the chorus came along, we would slowly make our way to one another. It was so romantic and fit the song tremendously. The audience was quiet and the room was dark. Suddenly, I heard Harry's guitar softly strum and the song began. The room was still dark, but a spotlight quickly highlighted me as I began to sing.

Then, another spotlight pointed onto Harry as he began his verse.

When the song ended, we were inches from one another and breathless. He stared into my eyes until the spotlight that we now shared went dark. He then took my face in his hands and placed the most desperate, passionate kiss on my lips. I shook with nerves and excitement. I'd actually performed again, but I was alongside the love of my life. I couldn't wipe the grin off of my face. He looped his arm around my waist as we headed backstage. The audience was the loudest it had been all night - shouts and applause filling the room.

"You two are amazing!" Lou met us as we stepped backstage. "I need that song on my iPod ASAP! It's perfect!" We hugged her as Raya, Devon, Kirsten and Louise filed in from their seats.
"Mummy, Daddy, that was amazing! I want to sing just like you two!" Raya jumped up and down. Harry scooped her up and gave her a big kiss on her cheek as I took Devon from Louise and gave him a smooch, too.
"Really though, that was unbelievable!" Louise's eyes were big and I could tell this whole experience of being at a huge event was something new and exciting for her. She'd been star struck all night, meeting celebrities and having drinks with all kinds of people. Kirsten was the same way. I pulled her in for a hug.
"Le, that was awesome!" She pulled out her phone and we took a selfie. She cracked me up.
The boys and their families all came in next. Compliments were flying around and Harry and I thanked everyone. There were two more acts before the boys put on the finale. One Direction headed into the dressing room as the families filed back into the front row. I couldn't contain my excitement to see them perform together again. It'd been YEARS and now they were about to perform one of their biggest hits - Little Things - which was one of my favorites. The boys came out on stage and performed. It was the best performance they'd ever had. Their chemistry was the same as it always had been. I teared up a bit and as I looked down the aisle at my favorite people, I saw that El, Dani, Emma and Perrie all had tears in their eyes, too.
"How about one more song?! It's not every day that we get to do this. What do you say, boys?" Louis shouted into the microphone. The other boys nodded and Best Song Ever came through the loud speakers. Everyone in the audience danced along. I had Devon on my hip and we swayed to the beat. He grinned and clapped his hands. Raya was beside me and with my free hand I twirled her. Her bright eyes were shining and I knew this would be a night we would all remember.

I just wanted to say thank you for being patient with me. The sweet comments made me want to write for you all so badly. I'm sad to say, but there will only be 1-2 more chapters and an epilogue. Then I'm finished with Leah and Harry. I'll be continuing my other story, A Part of Your World, though as soon as this is finished. So I won't be done for good with writing just yet.

This made me happy, then sad, then happy all over again!!! I was devastated with Leah when she learned about him having another child, especially when it was a girl. Then I was absolutely ecstatic when Raya became apart of their family!! Although, my favorite One Direction child has to be Sophia!! She has just as much sass as Louis and it made me smile like an idiot!! Although I know the odds are against it, I'm still holding out for the third story!!!
